That article really doesn't address a lot of those claims being false... in fact it agrees with like all of them except one, so I'm not sure why you're going at him.

I'm not going to pretend to have spent a lot of time researching this case, but either the Hodge Twins or some lawyer on YT went over the official police report which was leaked apparently (I have no idea if this is true). And from what I saw, they had been following them a long ass time and she was literally going to the prison and talking about drug running with some dude while the prison just sat back and recorded everything.

And even in that article they talk about how the police did in fact knock and the dude fired the first shot at him.

There was a lot of misinformation with this case (as usual), and the original Lefty version was very inaccurate from the limited research I've done - but TBH I can't claim to have spent enough time to have an actual understanding either and I'm fine admitting it.

The article even states that witness testimony says they never heard them announce themselves.. also they didn't have body cameras turned on (if they did they destroyed it) so in the end the public will never know

I don't have a strong opinion either way like I said, I hope the facts come out - there's no denying that the initial story put out there was complete horse **** though.

I think the biggest factor that lead to her dying is the fact that the guy opened fire on them when they were at the door. But then again were they doing a stern knock or were they pounding on it like maniacs with the hope that no one would actually come to it and they could just bum rush in? Hopefully more comes out.

It is probably going to be like all the cases recently, where the police handled the situation poorly, but some extremely poor decision making (ie shooting at a police officer), led to the outcome which seems to have stoked a ton of outrage.

It's a shame she had to die though, ideally no one would have but if anyone had to it would have been the dude and not her.

Most of the time you do have a choice. You're going to be apprehended, but how it happens is entirely up to you. You can go peacefully or go out in a shootout. It seems you are arguing that the majority of these deaths weren't the result of wreckless decision making.
