What happened to music especially

Country music.? Its a joke today. It doesnt sound country at all. They throw in the word pick up trucks and and they wank away

Rock today is not listenable R&B is a joke these days.

Rap has gotten just as bad. Its a flop across the board.

pop country is insufferable yeah, but there's a lot of good bluegrass/americana/"alt" country being made still, it's just kinda "underground" as much as i hate that word

There is plenty of good rock outside the mainstream. Scene is still alive and kicking. Just have to know where to look.


Mainstream music in general has trended downward in quality for decades. It's all become homogenized into generic "hits" that last a week before being replaced by another. That's where the money is. This is true in every genre nowadays.
