I thought the misc would love Str0mfront. Srs.

St0rmfront didn't really have much of a personality in the comics beyond screaming slurs in German and - apart from his involvement in Homelander's creation - was by and large irrelevant to the story.
The show version apparently kept the origins/powers/character but she's shown to be one of the major characters in the Vought long play. My guess is that they also kept the Homelander connection as well. Which would be all kinds of fuked up and lulzy.
Now if they only introduced Love Sausage already. Andrew Jackson was cast to play him in S2, but there are only 3 episodes left, so I assume we'll have to wait until S3 to get him majorly involved.

I don't know what the fuk the troll is saying a few comments up. St0rmfr0nt is great. Plays the role to perfection. Someone arguably even more fukced up than Homelander? Sign me up. She isn't as intense or as straight up horror as Homelander, but she's got her own narcissistic, snarky millennial / Egirl vibe that is awesome to hate. Not to mention all the virulent racism boiling under the service, which layers her out so much more (and really fits her in quite nicely with modern SJWs, who are bigots themselves.)
See most people don't really care all that much about character race / gender swaps, so long as it isn't framed disingenuously / self-righteously. A-Train was perfectly cast, that guy is great in that role. But if the creators were taking interviews going"The Boys was a book we're going to simultaneously milk for cash AND call problematic. Ugh, all the characters were WHITE MALES. We're changing them! Shame on the original creators who we are making a ton of cash on!"

In the meantime, looks like the series is getting a spin-off. Not too thrilled tbh, sounds like the run of the mill YA bs.
The spinoff is set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (or “supes”) that is run by Vought International. It is described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of “The Boys.”
Craig Rosenberg is writing the pilot and will serve as showrunner and executive producer under his overall deal with Sony Pictures Television, with Rosenberg currently serving as writer and executive producer on the original series. “The Boys” creator Eric Kripke will also executive produce along with “The Boys” executive producer Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver of Point Grey Pictures. In the meantime, looks like the series is getting a spin-off. Not too thrilled tbh, sounds like the run of the mill YA bs.
The spinoff is set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (or “supes”) that is run by Vought International. It is described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of “The Boys.”
Craig Rosenberg is writing the pilot and will serve as showrunner and executive producer under his overall deal with Sony Pictures Television, with Rosenberg currently serving as writer and executive producer on the original series. “The Boys” creator Eric Kripke will also executive produce along with “The Boys” executive producer Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver of Point Grey Pictures.
