my friend was asking me if he changes his zero on his chart from 100 to 200 does that mean the clicks on his chart are now half of what they say or something like that.

took me forever to figure what he was asking. did a 360 and walked away.

i won't say cheap, lol. It's something you can do yourself no problem, will just take a little bity of time. No special skill is needed it sounds like. Get a few pals, pay em in beer and pizza, or the hot chip thing, and boom!

Never pay someone to do what you can do yourself.

Does grass have trouble growing in your neck of the woods?

I'm a very frugal man myself and its going to end up killing me since I have too much pride to pay another man to do something I know I can do. I still have nightmares about replacing rusted out leaf springs

Recommend me a shopvac. Need one for around the house(condo), helping for things like cleaning car, garage, random spills etc.

Was looking at a 6 Gal dewalt on Amazon $100. Sound decent ?

Anything Dewalt makes is gonna be decent quality. I've had a wet/dry shop vac for about 5 years now but I don't even remember the brand. It's black with red accents and it was given to me for a Christmas present and works great. I'll look at the brand when I get home this afternoon

Eh, depends how much your time is worth. My free time is worth at least double what I make an hour. So if paying someone less then that I see that as a win.

Also helps that I’m capable of doing very little myself.

I bought the $100 Ridgid one and it’s good. Don’t think it makes much of a difference. I want one of those small battery powered ones from Milwaukee.

and there's this:

https://www.foxbusiness.com/business...-diversity-law

"California governor signs corporate boardroom diversity law"

Hundreds of California-based corporations must have directors from racial or sexual minorities on their boards under a first-in-the-nation bill signed Wednesday by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The diversity legislation is similar to a 2018 measure that required boardrooms to have at least one female director by 2019. Like that measure, it could face court challenges from conservative groups who view it as a discriminatory quota.

By the end of 2021, the more than 660 public corporations with California headquarters must have at least one board director from an “underrepresented community," according to the measure.

Those who qualify would self-identify as Black, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Native Hawaiian or Alaska Native, or as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.

The measure requires at least two such directors by the end of 2022 on boards with four to nine directors. Three directors are required for boards with nine or more directors. Firms that don’t comply would face fines of $100,00 for first violations and $300,000 for repeated violations.
