Yeah I’m withholding judgement till the footage/evidence comes out but from all accounts he sounds like a legitimately good person and didn’t have this coming, he didn’t even agree with the BLM narrative. So ****ed up

It will always be BLM vs those who can think rationally and know an isolated incident vs. a targeted genocide.

40 million black people, hundreds of thousands of police interactions, yet only a dozen unarmed black people killed annually and most of the time it’s justified.

Think about it, this is one of the few times you can say they didn’t do anything to get shot.

This is a bit of a hot take imo. There are plenty of people in here with rational opinions.

But this will definitely vindicate BLM if it turns out to be as messed up as it sounds.

Police aren't racist they're just hotheads who love to flex.

Been brutalized by the police twice in my life, neither time was I violating any law at the moment.

Any rational thinking person at this point would realize that the police are not in the business of aiding civilisations growth but punishing those who they see fit to.

Even law abiding wealthy citizens like the couple who defended their home from a BLM protest by posing with guns are feeling the sting from our CJ system.

In 2020 the police see themselves as the Judge, Jury and Executioner.

Comical how news outlets and BLM think they have any credibility when they cry wolf so many times. It is sad you can't believe any of these off the cuff reactions because of how fake they usually are. This one genuinely seems different, but so so difficult to say much because of how false other encounters turned out (I managed to avoid getting fooled by them until the Floyd case. That officer probably gonna lose his job, but idk why criminal charges would be necessary- nothing he could do for an opiate overdose on that level).
I'm not saying it justifies burning and looting.

I'm saying it could strengthen some of BLMs narratives.

Like most people I thought the cops fuked up when I originally saw the George Floyd vid. Going further back, when I first heard the Trayvon story I thought GZ was guilty. Then the truth starts coming out and you realize what bullish!t you’ve been fed to incite hate. Luckily, I didn’t blast my opinion all over the internet and make a full of myself before the real facts came out.

If the cops fuked up, I hope they’re charged to the fullest extent of the law, and not let off like that Arizona cop who executed the dude in the hotel. But how tf is a normal person outside of the situation supposed to make an honest judgement on this other than “let’s wait and see”?
