1. Actor of homelander
2. Actor of Billy butcher
Season 2 was trash tier compared to first. The women beating down storm front was just cringe especially since apparently in the comics it was meant to be the boys?
The scene where storm front flips the car like 8 times and they all get out in pristine condition (brb huey rolls in car once and almost dies).
The only good part of this ep for me was watching homelander do that press conference at the end and you can just see the craziness in his face.

the last few scenes are the only thing that made me feel like it capped the season but I didn't get the right sense of satisfaction.
I'm really wondering what's going to happen to Butcher, since it seems like everything is over, at least for The Boys.
I wonder what will bring them back into action, what kind of slip-up will Ocasio-Cortez make to get their attention.

The boys (actual males) were pretty useless in this episode. They did nothing cool or super smart. The only fighting was a superpower showdown between 3 lady supes VS 1 lady supe. Then Maeve shuts down Homelander. Show should be called The Girls/10 lol.
But yeah that was a pretty meh finale. I didn't care for the head popper reveal in the end. I thought that was super cliche. Like "I know!!! we'll make it the last person the audience suspects!" "Brilliant!"

Thought it was pretty good, scene where Butcher's wife dies was really well done. And obviously Homelander actor was 10/10, if they would have had one of the chicks beat his ass I would have been out on this show.
Didn't find the head exploder thing to be particularly gripping for next season, not surprised Hughey the cuck would end up over there though.

Its a shame they went so big, opening up a lot of plot threads especially when they planned to wrap things up by basically resetting things to the status quo. If they had focused more on the smaller character scenes, like those with Homelander and his son it would have been far stronger.

I really wonder about the health of the actor who played Homelander. The difference in bodyfat between seasons was extreme. He was chubby faced and young looking in season 1, and looked like he was Christian Bale in the Mechanic for season 2. I hope this isn't one of those "secretly on chemo" things

Finale was not bad, could be better. Feels for Ryan. Also kinda feels for Homelander when he "lost" his son.
Was confused why Maeve joined the "coupe" against Storm**** and Homelander. Obviously she has her own interests but it seems what pushed her over the edge and convinced her to join the beatdown was because Storm**** is a Nazi? Then they all team up stomping her (literally), I'm sure all the "punch Nazis" guys will love this.
School shootings parody and white genocide quotes seemed a bit out of place and politically motivated
Also confused how Becca stabbed Storm**** in the eye when she is basically invulnerable to most human weapons

I'm pretty far into the comics. I'm totally fine with them making St0rmfr0nt female, and making the beat-down administered by the chick characters. How delicate are some of you to insinuate the show is completely cucked? They seem to make fun of every side relatively evenly, South Park style even. People saying St0rmFr0nt should've been the comic version...the comic version had zero depth. He just shows up in Herogasm and then dies in a 5 comic arc. Very little scope to it. The St0rmfr0nt on the show was way more fleshed out, and making it a female + love interest to Homelander was an interesting twist on the character. Kinda lame they didn't have Payback at all in the show, but Payback was...again...VERY minor in the comic. Small arc, all wiped out relatively effortlessly, and then they were gone.
I will agree the school shooter opening was incredibly lame, particularly because 99% of the extremism I see being peddled by mainstream media and people alike on social media is far, far left Marxist sh!t. But I live in the Northeast, so I don't get subjected to the "alt-right" AT ALL. I've seen ONE person go full Nazi (wearing swastikas and saying anti-Jew, anti-gay sh!t). I see dozens and dozens of people daily radicalized to the left. Other than that scene, I don't really agree the show went full cuck. It makes fun of everyone and everything.
I thought this finale was excellent. Great action, great intensity, few moments I thought characters died when they didn't, few moments when I expected characters to survive and they didn't. Great twist at the end setting up Season 3. I'll have finished the comic long before Season 3 comes out now, I'm pretty far along. The changes the show made make sense for the TV format. In some ways it's toned down, in other ways it's more intense. I love them both.
In Season 3, I wouldn't be surprised if the Boys actually wind up taking compound V like in the comics. They're also doing a spin-off that sounds like it'll be based on the G-Men story, which is totally f#$%ed up. Not sure how they're gonna get away with that plot, it goes real dark places. If they stick to the comic the series finale for the spin-off will be amazing.

Kid actor was such trash in the woods scene, the contrast between him and Billy/Homelander's acting was really jarring. Kid actors always suck though.
Maybe Maeve was pissed off at the Nazi thing cause they gassed a chitload of gay people alongside the jews, definitely was a stretch to have her show up to the storm beat down like that.
Also, pretty sure that beatdown was a parody of the Avengers cringe af "girl power" moment in the end fight

How come storm could get stabbed in her eye by a limp wristed normal lady. Yet she took a major beat down by 3 supes and was okay.
How is the kid's laser so strong? Didn't Homelander blast storm and she took the shot to her chest for a good half a minute and was fine. So she has a strong resistance. Yet the lil kid was able to utterly annihilate her?
How, after all the head explosions in the courtroom, Vought and all supe activity isn't put on serious lock down. Things just went back to normal? Like hey we have a star witness who's going to end their whole career but soon as he's about to speak his head explodes. Oh well I guess we can't do anything now, back to letting the supes run free.
Why didn't storm just smash Becca's head in. Takes 2 seconds. Why the whole dramatic choking scene and wasting time where something could easily go wrong. I hate when movies/shows do these unrealistic dramatic pauses. It was so obvious the kid was gonna stop her. IRL, Storm just got her reputation destroyed making her PISSED. She showed up to kill the fukkers who did this only to get a royal beat down by two of her team members and an Asian chick who she would hate because she's racist. After her beat down she finds Becca who is defying her. Becca even stabs her in the eye causing massive anguish. Why, oh WHY after all of that would Storm not immediately smash her head in blind rage?
