night shift sucks in some ways...
woke up at 4pm today. felt like the half the day had already passed.....cus it had. but it's just beginning for me.
ran some errands, got a lil sunlight.
got ready for work at 10pm. find out work is canceled at 11pm.
cannot go to sleep. wide awake. and can't do chit. everything closed. everyone in my house is asleep. it's also cold af tonight so can't work out in garage or even go for a walk.
brb misc, watch a show, or read and waste the night away.

Buy a space heater for the garage then so if it happens again you can lift.

I love night shift. But I work as a cop, so nights are definitely more exciting than days in this job. On my nights off when I'm up late, I use that time to watch movies or TV shows that my wife won't watch with me. Or play video games without my kids interrupting me.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, nonsubjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

everyone's chilling on site. usually not much oversight.
some stores are open if you want to grab food.
go to the gym after work. empty af.
wake up at 12-2pm, finish all your errands and chores. still have hours of sun to enjoy.
but covid changed all that. now all the "24" hr gyms are 5am-11pm at most.
