if you would even consider using that then you're not the type who would be able to do it even with AR. figuring out what bolts to turn/ logs to disconnece that the easiest most trivial part, its the muscling, wedging tools in tight spaces, lining akward things up ets thats the hard part lmao

Depends on the person I think. I go through phases. Same with non-vr games. I played half life Alyx all the way through for a few hours at a time. After I beat that, I didin't touch my headhset until a couple of days ago (6 months?) because I got the walking dead on sale. Walking dead is fun so far, but I'm not itching to play it. I can go months without playing any games.
VR is pretty amazing but if I only had two options. Play games/do vr stuff or engage in my hobbies outdoors (rock climbing, biking, hiking, camping, etc) I'd pick outdoors every time.
