Why do blacks care so much about inclusion in arts?

They only represent 13% of the population yet they feel they have been misrepresented in movies/commercials/animation

Yet they act like they are oppressed ?

Do they want an over representation of blacks?

Doesn’t that make them racist?

because if a movie doesnt have a main role being played by a black or minority its racist now. same with commercials - no minority or female representation? racist and misogynisticclown world

Yeah that is weird. What’s also funny is that 60-70% of all professional athletes are black so I really don’t understand what they’re trying to get at.

In regards to your example black QBs were told to pick a different position because they were thought of to be too stupid to be a QB in the NFL, that used to be the stereotype along with the head coach

Hispanics outnumber Blacks (17 vs 13%) but we rarely see much on the front page about them.
What's the agenda?

Honestly, IME most it's vocal black leaders or organizations, white and Jewish liberals calling for that. Rare I hear an average non 'pro black' minded person complain about the level of representation pre 2010s.

IME most black don't really care that much. Also, if my family is anything to go by, them shoehorning in black people everywhere is actually beginning to piss black people off. Nothing wrong with wanting to represent diversity in casting in a modern film or TV show set in a say London or New York, but it's getting to be too much.

C'mon brah, I think we can make a strong guess.

We cycle thought subtle threads on Asians and Black now. There is a growing sentiment/agenda on this site, IME. There are people who have openly come out in support of White Nationalism, and routinely insult non-whites. I predicted it was going to get worse here since last year, and people called me crazy/paranoid.

Gotta keep it subtle to fly under the radar. But the accumulative affect of the threads is the agenda.

Maybe OP is just naively asking the question, but maybe he is consciously contributing to what is going on with the misc.

I got negs for asking why they replaced white Jake from state farm in commercials to a black Jake like he never existed, they even remade the original commercial that ran for a couple years, with the black Jake. Of course it started around the time of all these riots and virtue signaling.

There’s blacks doing it too but to act like black people as a whole act this way is ridiculous.

I don't really care who plays what role in a tv show or movie as long as they're good at it.

Someone referenced Black Panther & all you saw online during that time was #WakandaForever & it being portrayed like every black american looked to that movie as the black gospel & if you didn't like the movie it was because you were racist, while I never saw that in the real world (at least anecdotally). It was a good superhero movie. But Chad Boseman as a human being off-screen, by all accounts, was a wonderful person & should've been who the media & social media pushed black kids to look up to, not a fictional character.

I've only noticed a few things to seemed blatantly pushed onto the viewer recently IMO
- All female ghostbusters
- Fantastic 4 reboot with a changed storyline to explain michael b jordan taking over a white role & having a pale white sister (FWIW I liked this reboot if, for nothing else, Kate Mara is HHNNGGGG!)
- And it seems most shows i've seen lately (especially on netflix) put at least one or more openly gay characters in a main role. (which is fine when it doesn't feel like it's being pushed on the viewer as an agenda)

Its largely white liberals that think blacks are underrepresented in media. If anything they are massively over-represented. In America Hispanics make up a larger percent of the population and by far and large seem to be under-represented in advertisements, commercials, in movies, etc.
