Met up with an ex.. pretty sure I made her cry (srs)

Update to my last thread.. cliffs op dated girl for 2 yrs, ended due to op constantly pushing her away due to substance abuse later finding out I have bpd.. met up last night for the first time in 1 year

Found out beforehand she’s been dating someone for a month.. an hour or so into meeting up I brought up the fact I dated a girl for a few months and it only ended due to her planning on moving and at same time as lockdowns (op Is an ******* and mainly did this due to finding out she had a bf beforehand) her demeanour completely changed and a few mins later she went to the washroom.. I’m no makeup expert but that chit looked smeared when she got back

I realized quickly anyway that I don’t want to get back together and would rather keep her as a close friend so friendzoning her I guess.. she wants to go see a movie next week but op isn’t very eager but will do it anyway.. I tried to make it obvious I’m not looking to get back together by saying I’m focused on self improvement etc (our dinner lasted 6hrs before we got kicked out srs)

Think I’m only posting this as I stopped seeing my therapist but I am feeling like I’m on the verge of ruining my social life again Srs

Yes srs.. we were friends for a bit before we dated and realized I’d rather go back to that as we have a ton of chemistry I do care about her a lot etc

I didn’t admit I didn’t want to but I’m indifferent to it.. I don’t want her to get the wrong idea even tho I mentioned more than once I’m staying single for a while which is true

I’m dead srs when I say I don’t feel any feelings towards her but maybe that will change I’d hope not..

Long story short as well as breaking up with her I lost a bunch of friends at the same time too and still feels pretty bad.. so that’s partly why too I guess idk

Honestly before meeting up I didn’t know how I’d feel

Not going into detail or being too dramatic but been getting my life back on track past couple yrs. I got out of touch with my best friend for months when we’ve been friends for 10+ yrs. I see not getting back in touch with her as a similar thing as she means almost as much to me. I’m probably being selfish, but my intentions aren’t bad
