Not anyone can administer anesthesia, what are you talking about???

I have had to reschedule surgeries for interventional radiologists because we were unable to find an anesthesiologist to support the procedure.

What are you talking about with medical school? I said a major academic institution - Ie the University of Chicago hospital, not their medical school.

Anesthesiology is it's own field & highly complicated on a patient per patient basis, you don't learn it in med school.

When you want your transmission rebuilt you don't take it to an oil change shop, you take it to a transmission shop. Specialties exist for a reason.

As for the online, lol no, you'll do some studying and homework through an online portal but I had to put in over 700 clinic hours. You can't replace formal professors.

Woman has a BS in Nursing. She went to a care facility for mentally challenged kids as her first job and started Fresh out of college at 25.00 an hour. She’s going to go to a hospital when our new son is old enough to go to daycare. Should be making bank then.

Of course you left out the salary average of mid levels such as NP & PA. But please go ahead and continue grouping them all together.
NP's were paid 70-80 per hour, we preferred PA's who we hired in the 55-65 range. The level of service they provided in our clinics was the same, but NP's were unionized.

Not sure where you are going with this smart guy.

You refuted my statement that CRNA's make as much as low level doctors, and you don't understand what a low level doctor is. I have clarified that for you, and now you are concerned that I didn't provide hourly rates for PA's and NP's? I never siad an NP makes as much as a doctor, I said I wouldn't be ashamed if my son or daughter decided to become a CRNA or NP.

How about you shut the fuk up, and take the L.

I am an NP and make around $70 an hour, when I finish my psychiatry NP cert it will go up to $90-120/hour.

CRNA make more on average but if you are an NP and want to create your own business/hustle you can make just as much. NP national average is brought down by the legions of NPs working primary care making 80k/year while PA generally do ortho/ER and other higher paying specialties.

Nursing in general is a great career choice for a guy, 3 12 hour shifts and you are done, not menial work like working in a cubicle. ER is a blast to work in my experience

A nurse practitioner is a pretty good job.
They are basically doctors minus all of the med school.

Pro: make 100k at 23 without being a high functioning human being
Con: make 100k at 53 despite being a high functioning human being

It's a womens job for a reason. Men seek a constant upward trajectory. I understand there are some options for advancement with further education and all that jazz, but if you're investing that much time you shouldve just went to med school like all those guys who your coworkers are fiending over and not have to deal with a lifetime of being mogged.

Flexibility is the best part, and that's useless to men unless you've got a second career on the side. Women seek casual employment to pursue #wanderlust, then full time for a few years, then mat leave, then 0.6, etc., so it's the goat job for them.

Depends on the program. There are still quite a few schools that require either full attendance or at least 70% attendance (pre-COVID).

Huh??? You can make as much as you want, depending if you want to work OT/Holidays/Graveyard.

Plus, any nurse that isn't a retard works for 2-5 years as an RN and then applies for NP/CRNA school.

California, I’m not in the Bay Area though so lower cost of living area.

The union contract covers all of Northern CA, I happen to be in a lower cost of living. Area thankfully.

Starter homes about $300-$350k here for a 3/2

its got its pros and cons, lots of hot broads, feels good to help people, pay is really good for an undergraduate with plenty of room for big cash as a masters, but you work with women all day (which can be good and bad) and some really ****ty patients that think you're their slave

if you're into geriatric women hitting on you all day its a dream job lmao "well ive never had a nurse as tall and handsome as you son" "Maam, just let me give you this suppository so I can go on break"
