Why do people get mad when I buy lottery tickets??(just lol @ them)
Usually about twice/week I’ll stop in for lottery tickets. I always get a powerball and mega millions, and I usually go with a few scratch offs just to try my luck. Now, admittedly sometimes it takes a minute or two because I have to listen to my instinct and make a good choice, but I don’t understand all the hate. It’s not always bad, but sometimes I can hear audible sighs and often times people look at me sideways as I’m leaving. It used to bother me more, but now I don’t really give a sh!t. Why?? Because who the fukk are you? You’re in a gas station early on a Monday morning too so it’s not like you are doing great either, so why the fukk are you hating on me? Go get your fukking coffee or vitamin water and take your ass to work like the rest of us. Just lmao at taking out your frustrations on me because you don’t like your life.

I play a couple times a week too religiously.
Hey , I got a couple extra bucks and imagine how life changing a big $ win would be.
To me , it makes sense to play the lottery . Just play within a budget

I buy one ticket once a year, every december. Why? Because i enjoy the 10 minutes of fantasizing about what i'd do with the money.

The lotteries here are smaller jack pots ussually with better odds
I play...but would I drop a lot of cash on it ? No . Maybe 10 bucks here and there that other wise id spend on some other bs that gives me no chance to get any money.

If it's your money you're free to do with it what you will. People look down on poor people spending money on lotto because it's stupid since the odds are astronomical (power ball is roughly 1 in 292,201,338)that it ever pays off seriously and it's just throwing away what little money they do have. Most people like to look down on others, welcome to Earth.

You can wait until it rolls over to like $700m+
This has happened a few times before and go big at that point.
Playing when it’s under 100m is like taking your $1 giving it to the cashier and him giving you 40 cents back.
Playing when it’s at 700m is like you giving the cashier $1 and him giving you $1.30 back(50%) tax.
That’s why all the big boys wait for it to roll over and come with big ticket buys, the simpletons just keep buying every week donating.
