This Vid On Venezuela Made Me Grateful For Everything I Have!

Rule of Law.

Never going hungry due to lack of food.

A well built home.

Having toilet paper.

What phuckin hard lives those people have!

Now I understand why projects like Dash, Bitcoin Cash and Smartcash target countries like Venezuela.

People love to complain, but we have life on easy mode in the western world. I try to appreciate everything I have on a daily basis. Just having the lights on and watching my gigaturd sink away down my toilet is a miracle.

Part 2 is even worse!

(e.g. People buying expired meat, complete blackouts for days in an ultra violent city.)

Absolutely. This is the greatest time to be alive in all of human history and we have it better here in the western world than any other human has had it throughout all of history. Let that sink in a bit. Too many people take things for granted.

This is only true from a certain materialistic perspective which values comfort over all else. I think the greatest time to be alive may well have been pre-history.

1) People will phuck, it's an almost overwhelming drive of human nature. People are not going to be voluntarily celibate on a mass scale, that is simply unrealistic.

2) Condoms cost money/resources to import or produce.

3) Venezuela is overwhelmingly Catholic. The Catholic church forbids condoms and abortion.

4) Having children is a strong biological drive that a high majority of people have.

5) Having babies makes people happy.

It takes very unusual conditions (e.g. the late stage capitalism of Japan, fused with Japan's neo-traditionalism) to create circumstances where a large percentage of men and women aren't interested in sex and having kids.

What would be a better parameter and a better time to be alive?

Like I said, pre-history. 100,000BC. If you want a parameter then liberty, or biological superiority. Or how about during the age of discovery, opportunity for exploration, discovery and heroism. Point is, not everyone just wants a nice safe existence as a domesticated animal.

If you take the perspective which you guys espouse itt, first explain why depression and suicide rates are much higher in the developed world.

Give me examples of how liberty was higher in pre-history? I mean I guess you can go around and do what you want, but there are so many threats at those times that I think it offsets.

I think it is a product of a lack of gratitude and people focusing on what they don't have instead of what they do have.

You must also think then, that being a working plough horse would be preferable to being a wild stallion?

Honestly, I think only for the working class, and (US concept based) middle class who have no investments/crypto.

I think that 'the elite' will only let the west go down temporarily before they roll out 'the great reset' as their solution.

There are advantages to both. The plough horse gets food and water, shelter from the elements, protection from predators, a level of vet care, etc in exchange for it's work.

I know there are advantages to both, I just wondered whether people could see the other perspective.

Cryptocurrency entrepreneurs in Venezuela.

Bitcoin in Venezuela 2020...

Bitcoin Cash in Venezuela...

Bitcoin Cash and DASH > Bitcoin for use as a currency IME. Bitcoin is slow with expensive transaction fees, only reason IMO why it's so expensive to buy is because it was the original. Bitcoin Cash and Dash is cheap to send and quick, much better for developing nations.
