That said, I've been microdosing psilocybin (150mg every 3 days) and it has been great for anxiety. The dosage to actually get "high" is 1g+. Usually 2-3 grams for a standard trip. 150mg is something you don't even feel at all. I'd highly recommend it and there's a lot of science now showing the benefits of psilocybin for anxiety. They gave late stage cancer a big dose, and most of them reported a substantial reduction in the anxiety surrounding dying etc.
Disclaimer: It's possible if you're predisposed to schizophrenia or other mental illnesses that it could trigger something. As always you should consult with a doctor when it comes to your health.
150mg of mushrooms seems to be better than becoming a zombie on stuff like ***** or ****** etc.

No, but I would definitely say LSD is.

One good thing about it is now I get to be on TRT for life... Most people don't know that it murders your natural test production. Some guys go impotent too. Literally everyone at my local methadone clinic was on Test.

It can be life changing. Still remember my fist trip quite vividly. Acid is cool as well, but I like shrooms a bit more.

No shrooms are just mental af I've had a bad trip and I'm not touching them ever again.
Cid is way more of an experience and also way smoother imo regardless of how *intense* people claim either substance is.

So to the misc, has anyone either microdosed or had a full blown trip, and if so, what were your experiences?
I have a feeling in the near future psilocybin will become a legitimate treatment for a lot of things

There have been many studies on this in the past and the conclusion was that people FELT like something was happen, creative things, profound things, but they couldn't explain it.
A good friend of mine was having a massive drug relapse and starting using crack in my car, which pissed me off to no end, but I inhaled it and it felt the same as when I do something awesome. It was the thrill of triumph that I feel.
I was like, is that it?
I get that feeling from stuff at work.
When I lived in Denver, weed was legal and that creates mind happiness. I get that from conversations.
Druggies I have known, and I have known a lot, are frequently very dull and boring people. They don't seem to do or enjoy much and so these drugs supply basically normal feelings for them that they hype up a lot.
I'll bet psychedelic's create a feeling, and that is it, which is what the studies I've read concluded.
I have seen Netflix specials promoting the idea that they are "life changing" and all feature members of the famous mideast business tribe. So, I assume someone is trying to make them legal because they have business deals ready.
The same things happens in places where they want to make weed legal, it cures every disease known to man, but is being suppressed! Then, they make it legal and it's the same as beer and you get a little intoxicated and all talk of miracle cures is over.
You cannot "learn about life" unless you LEARN ABOUT LIFE---IN REAL LIFE----while sober.

No. It's druggie nonsense. I've only dropped acid but It's similar I've heard. Hate when people try to spiritualize degen drug use like that muppet rogan.

It varies by individual. Dense, thoughtless types will find it funny and dopey and watch cartoons and have a smooth ride. Others will have life changing trains of thought and personality changes

Microdose a few times. It's fukking terrific, especially in the outdoors.
I have some friends and know some people who are seriously anti drug. To the point where it's on a religious level. They are the ignorant ones though, they can't grasp any concept and they blow everything out of proportion... Yet they get tanked all the time when the drink and the others smoke cigarettes... The two worst things you can do.

always lol @ psychdellic nerds saying "it will change your life" and "everyone should do them once" yet all the most hardcore pysch nerds ive met were absolute dumpster fires of people with absolutely nothing going for them and no amount of drugs aside from maybe a mainline drip of ******** could ever turn that around
i genuinely think the only thing it will change about a persons life is their likelihood to bring up psych drugs in passing conversation, not to say it doesn't help people but that the average person saying "it changed their life" is no different today than the day before they took it.
and before you angrily type a reply please tell me how you personally have improved your life since taking said drug

Watch a good interview or lecture from the mushroom man.
Anybody passing through w/an interest in benefits, but doesn't want to trip may want to check out reishi (mood/anxiety/depression).

I have never been a drug user and always preferred to be sober, however, when I have tried things or accidently been exposed to them, I feel they are just normal feelings. Your brain can't feel ways it doesn't already feel. There is no gas you can put in a car that makes it go 5,000 mph, and your brain is the same.
So, I think miserable people make a big deal out of drugs when they produce feelings similar to natural ones.
I would bet that's the same here.
People have told me a lot when I was younger that I sound like I just smoked weed. That's because I like to talk about philosophical subjects and whatnot. The deal is that I do not care what people think because I have low anxiety and I am a large man so I have never been afraid of looking "uncool" or "scared" of anyone. The same thing for going out to bars or clubs, I never needed to drink to dance or talk to girls, I actually preferred not to. However, very scared people need all of that just to "think" about something other than being scared.
Zen Buddhism is massively about not being hung up on primitive mental states and people learn how to do that without drugs.

When you know how to operate that device, you will not need it.
A nice trip to the gym can help too.

i genuinely think the only thing it will change about a persons life is their likelihood to bring up psych drugs in passing conversation, not to say it doesn't help people but that the average person saying "it changed their life" is no different today than the day before they took it.
and before you angrily type a reply please tell me how you personally have improved your life since taking said drug

I agree.
These people always make vague statements which is what all druggies do.
They say change your life, but they cannot explain in detail what has changed.
Meanwhile, a person who survived a car accident, had a loved one die, went to prison, etc can write a book, literally, on how it changed their perspective on life. Druggies cannot do that so they are like a type of retard.

The reason a lot of people say "you should do it once" is because unfortunately unless you've experienced the effects of psychs you don't have any way of knowing what tf you're talking about and really aren't equipped to discuss them. I personally don't think they are for everyone and I don't advocate everyone to use them, but I do think that unless you have first hand experience with them you don't have much business having an opinion on the matter.
The best way I can describe it to a virgin is that it's like dipping your toes into insanity for a few hours. This can be a good thing or a bad thing and depends on a multitude of factors, ultimately tho it all depends on you.
