Hedge Fund Investor talks about Bitcoin and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC)...



Cliffs:

Institutions are looking to Bitcoin for an investment, in a time when we have negative interest rates in a number of countries.

Central banks are running out of things they can do to stimulate the economy.

Central banks are looking to rollout a centralized digital currency to stimulate the economy (China has been testing it's digital currency this year, and will launch it next year).

A CBDC means that every single transaction will be tracked, and taxed. No 'off the books' trade possible.

The IMF director has announced the need for a 'New Bretton Woods', meaning a new international agreement on currency.

Bitcoin will likely become a reserve asset for smaller country's central banks and institutions around the world.




This Crypto investor talks about the same points as above, but also talks about The Great Reset.






The choice we seem to being facing is to use decentralized currencies (Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Monero, etc) or centralized currencies (CBDCs).

let's say you're right.......do you know how big of a pump that would be? INSANE. You can always stay on the sideline though.

I'm in for $7500 as of today.....

Made well over $10k realized profits on the 2017 boom.

I have a lot more to throw at it obv, but this will never be a "forever" investment for me, mostly a fun pump mania that I have been overall very successful at so far.

you guys are forgetting one thing physical cash will not go away ever since the treat of an emp attack, attack of the grid... A complete blackout or a simple interuptiom of telecommunication system is far to likely into our future

Don't store on an exchange man, bad idea. Exchanges can go under, accounts can get hacked, or accounts can get frozen.

If you buy from an exchange, set up your own walled (you can do a paper wallet if you want).

Or a hardware wallet like Ledger or Ellipal.


You can buy Bitcoin (It's BTC) in the US easily on Cashapp, Paypal, and Coinbase.
