Would actually be interested in any anecdotes about intervention. With my ex I never tried because once I figured out the extent of his addictions we were already breaking up and I was afraid of him and did not want to confront him.

I did ask his “friend” if we should stage an intervention but he said no because my ex had no interest in stopping. But that guy was one of his enablers making money off my ex so he was biased and acting in his own interest.

Idk if interventions work. Also irl I would not really care to try unless it’s immediate family. Anyone else with addictions I’d honestly rather just drop from my life because I don’t want to deal with it.
I don't really think they work either. They might force someone temporarily into treatment, but that's about it (makes for great TV, though!)

Intervention is one of the few reality shows that I enjoy so me and my wife watch it together sometimes. I like the bald guy the best. He is compassionate but has a slightly tougher approach

Yes, I did this like 3 times. tbh, the second time I did it where I left everyone behind even my friends I made from my first move was probably the best. I was literally all alone and all I did was surf and hit the gym. Maybe because I was single.

A couple weeks ago I posted a physique pic on reddit which was a terrible fukn idea. It was a smaller, seemingly normal subreddit where most threads get like 5 to 10 comments and it's always just basic lifting stuff. Within a day I had like 6 DMs from dudes complimenting me and didn't think much about it just replied "thanks bro" to all of them. Another guy wrote me back something like "I was very serious..." seemed weird so I clicked on history and the things that were seen. Every single one of the dudes wrote me all post in these weird gay, literally gay, subreddits. I feel like the world's biggest jackass lol

Sometimes I'm happy with how my life turned out and all is well. But sometimes I just want to like drop everything, start over in some city across the country, and try again. Most of the time it's a mix of being bored with family and friends all of the time, and also for a new challenge for myself.

I had a job offer to move to a different country, but I was simping with my girlfriend at the time so I declined it. Then when we broke up I was kicking myself for not taking it.

You have to stick around and be there for your son. Divorce will mess him up big time. That plus being raised alone by her, he won't have a chance. Wait till he's 18. Stay, influence him. Take him to church, and along for all the other things you like to do. He'll turn out just like you despite her. It would wreck his life if you left, but you can turn out a great man if you stay. Just do your own thing and have your own hobbies. You'll get through it. Time goes by fast.

I tend to use reddit on the weekends since they have a mobile app and miscing from my phone is a nightmare. It's extremely anonymous which is both good and bad. The only things I ever go to on there are college football, nba, college basketball, guns and guitar subs and I'm sure I've had the same conversation with the same people more than once but I never look at their username so I don't know. It was honestly fine until I branched out into the fitness subs. I'm sure some red troll has beat it to my bodyspace before but at least they didn't PM me about it
