Trump seems to not have the balls to do the right thing and stop this foreign coup with the deployment of the military in order to protect democracy. Republicans also don't seem to have the balls to do anything about it with all those guns they collected to "defend themselves against tyranny". People act like war is the worst thing ever. It certainly should try to be avoided like Hitler and Chamberlain did (Churchill had to satisfy his masters,) but war also fosters are a stronger class of people, usually better people.

I see some people tout globalism and decry nationalism on grounds of peace vs war. I would rather countries hold onto their identity, pride and uniqueness vs the soul and spirit crushing globalism we see today. If the cost is war from time to time, I'm willing to live with that versus globalism.

So globalism which is a relatively recent ideology is responsible for the death 20 million Europeans at the hands of the National Socialists? That figure doesn't even include all of the indirect casualties caused by Hitler and his wild ideas of a German World Order.

Hitler and Chamberlain did not try and avoid war. Hitler was going to invade Eastern Europe with or without Chamberlain. Chamberlain was delaying war until the allies were ready. Globalism does not erode away identity, pride and uniqueness. It allows people to experience other cultures and mix and mash those cultures with theirs. You're acting like only the West is losing it's uniqueness when in reality the third world is also experiencing this "erosion" as you call it. There are McDonald's everywhere in the middle east (overtaking the local cuisine) and Africans would rather wear Western clothing over their local clothing. However, no one is forcing anyone to give up their local traditions. People willingly choose to mimic another culture because that's what globalism is all about. Cultures are gonna change no matter what you do. Simply getting behind nationalism isn't going to revamp your culture forever. Quit being a closet racist and actually experience other cultures for once. Who knows maybe you'll learn that you prefer Middle Eastern culture over the Germanic one.

I had never had any interest in Taiwan but after watching the movie I seriously wanna go, the cities look VERY green and beatiful lots of mango trees and lush forests and parks tucked right into the cities, lots of parts of that movie revolve the characters walking around and taking in the sun in many of the beautiful parks and streets lined with lush tropical trees. Looks like a very beautiful well planned country
