Already been having boxing day sales, went out shopping at the mall the other day and all stores are 25-60% sales. Actually thought the limits on customers in stores made the experience better lol. Sure I had to wait max 10mins to get into a store but hardly anyone in your way to look at things. But I'm getting fed up with all this bullchit in general and legit feel bad for the small businesses just getting absolutely rekt. Already going a little insane not being able to do anything recreationally with friends. Can't imagine being locked down in a small apartment/condo during all this.

What hobbies you boyos getting into during lock down?

Been refining my 3d modeling/3d printing, Drone building, and guitar skills which is keeping me busy for the most part.

So stupid. Basically they are closing everything that didn't cause spread before (confirmed by research) and not changing much at all except making sure businesses don't overcrowd. But small businesses have to close down and will have to go under. No way most places can survive having this happen a THIRD time.

I don't agree with the lockdowns but if you are going to shut down toronto, you need to shut down the entire GTA. That includes Toronto, York, Durham, Peel and Halton. Probably Hamilton as well. Everywhere else is probably too small and the small towns would be too far/spread out. Halfway measures don't work, but it's not going to work anyways outside of a full on weld apartment doors shut type of authoritarianism for a few months because people are going to get fed up, many are already fed up with the ineffective lockdowns with no end in sight so I don't blame them. Small businesses and mental health already has taken a huge hit.

brb shutdown Toronto and Peel when York and Durham still open, where do you think people are going to go to? I wouldn't be surprised if these shutdowns actually made it worse because that's more people densely packed and flocking to smaller areas.

Now people are going to complain about hospitalization, but Toronto has already had this issue with "hallway medicine" since Wynne was premier. It happens during the flu season every year. Ford I believe cut funding if I'm not mistaken. They had since then, and since the pandemic started to get their chit together so you just wonder wtf they are doing. The abysmal state of nursing homes didn't come to light until the summer when the army of all people were like "wtf is this chit?". 60% of deaths, still from nursing homes.
