Straight up, please no LARPing. If you are going to pretend to earn 6 figures to boost your status on the internet, IMO that makes you a loser. Being broke or making an average income doesn't, the LARPing does.
There is viral video amongst black content creators (being on the internet a long time, I've noticed that although they are English speaking - East and South Asian and Black content creators tend to have a race defined audience.)
A clip from this video went viral...
(Miscers... No need to talk chit about the woman's looks, she's already by humiliated online on numerous videos and social media comments.)
Basically she was asking advice on how to get an older man (e.g. 45 years old) 6 figure earning man, as an average looking 35 year old woman, with a 13 year old son. Her reason is that men who make less when she's date them want her to help them make money, and so she feels she can't 'submit' to a man like that.
The host Kevin Samuels said that men who make that kind of money have younger women chasing them, and they want an above average looking woman, with no kids. He bluntly told her that if she doesn't change her standards then she's going to die alone.
Then this youtuber made a response video:
She said that Kevin is too formulaic in his outlook, and that she could find an older man who makes 6 figures who wants to date her.
What's your personal experience misc? What standards do 6 figure men generally have?

Just finished working 6 years in an industry where the average salary of all my employees was $105k/year. They are just your most normal, down to earth basic bros who were all middle class. Nothing high for standards, they basically smash your average tinder girls, have a few more toys than the average person and drive big expensive trucks.
If you honestly think that 100k/year is special, hard, bumps you up to another 'level of class'... It doesn't. Money makes ZERO difference in who you are. Not saying there aren't posers out there who have worked their way up to 100k, and believe it defines them as special so they put on certain airs because they are insecure.. Majority of them though are just normal middle class people. 100k/year doesn't elevate or change who you are. It doesn't give you dignity or class, it doesn't make you a person of distinguished taste.

I don't know if men feel the same way, but nothing scares me more than nutsos with nothing to lose, which is mostly what high earners are trying to avoid. The way she awkwardly mentioned it made me think she's just throwing out words she thinks men like to hear.

Lol'd. She owns a pet grooming business and thinks her chit doesn't smell cus she makes good money. Breaking 6 figures doesn't automatically make you special and give you the upperhand in the dating scene (for both genders). Be a good/kind/pleasant person, take care of your physical appearance, chill out on all the requirements that a guy "must have" and naturally, quality guys will gravitate towards you. Even though she has a kid and earns good money, her perspective and way of speaking leaves a lot to be desired. Not really surprised she's struggling in the dating scene. I don't know anyone who earns good money, but runs around and claims to be "looking for a 6 figure guy" lmao. If I was a guy, I'd run the other way too.

If its the $110k version, I can see a normal dude getting with an average looking girl with a kid.
It would be rare to see a guy making $700k get with an average looking girl with a kid. I do know guys in that range that are married to average looking women (misc standards).....good looking in real life but nothing "stunning". Because some men in this range arent just looking for big T&A...its more about thge girl's family background, how she acts, etc. AKA not a sloot.

I make enough to put me in the 99th percentile and you better believe men like me expect women to be well above average as well. We definitely aren’t settling down with a woman over 30 at the absolute most... and they must be above average at least. My criteria for serious dating is that the woman must be young, above average looks, and have a great personality. Education/income is a huge plus as well as I want to DINK. A woman at age 35 or one with kids is immediately disqualified to most men lol. Why would we go for that when I can literally still date girls that are 18-24 easily? That’s ludicrous.

After living in Houston about 28ish years, I personally wouldn't want to live in the inner loop. Sugarland and other surrounding areas are just as good of spots that leave you in driving distance and a nice area around. You can get a decent house in Houston for $220k - $280k no problem.

I earn 6 figures. We are all different and come from different places. Just because you earn 6 figures doesn't mean anything.

Me personally, I've worked hard for what I now have, and my main standard for a women is that she contributes to my life rather than take from it. (not talking about money here, i'd go out with a poor chick who is smart and driven)

I’m easily in the top 1 percent yearly income wise and am not single. Requirement is to be attractive, at least have a college degree and a career of her own, and be kind and nurturing. I have all three in my current partner, she’s 26, we have been together for nearly 3 years now. As I am aging, my options are likely dwindling if I were to be back on the market as far as young attractive women. However, there will be no shortage of 30+ women, and single moms, or young gold diggers probably until 50.

Just squeaked into the 6 figure category (this year $100,200) and I definitely don't fall into the category of being chased by women for my money. You've gotta be at least $250k to get the "he's got money" status
