If by market cap, then yes.

If by Tech... No. Bitcoin is honestly trash compared to many other cryptocurrency. Also, blockchain tech is/and can, be used for more than just cryptocurrencies.

It’s certainly NOT with 90% of my stack like before but I put about 20% into this new position. Will be fun to see how it plays out.
I reckon there's a decent short squeeze coming, I'm not brave enough to long it but power to guys getting in for the gains. I reckon the same old crypto trap will play out:

-XRP weakly bounces here, test previous resistance
-Fails to make a higher high, sells off. Shorts pile in again
-Slow sat bleed to test new lows, then Ripple settles.. shorts get wicked out for a temp resistance break.
-XRParmy noobs pile in thinking moontimes, followed by failed support holding and slow sat bleed (while BTC runs to ATHs).

I've just nostradamus'd the next 8 weeks of XRP price action.

Nice play W11w, buy when there’s blood on the streets. You seem very objective and unemotional with trading, really important.

1inch is doing free macbook airdrop (like the uniswap airdrop earlier this year) for those that have traded on it:

If you shorted at 20x leverage when I thought the price was high at 44c, you would have made a 800%+ return at the 26c bottom.

The only shorts that got squeezed are those that shorted the absolute bottom support at 26-30c yesterday.

Sure, but how reliably do you know when the short squeeze will occur? It would be interesting to backtest shorting immediately following very bad news.

You could be right if it’s an exploitable pattern.

I mean, selling surprise news is very much a thing people do. You usually have to be quite fast, having a dump last 24hr is... something I've never heard of from a news event. Usually they're over in less than an hour, maybe a couple hours.

Look at the volume of selling. When you see a big amount of sellers getting out, exhaustion is about to happen. Demand to buy follows

Cheers boyos. Merry Christmas.

When the news came out i remember posting "30 cents here we come", but i didn't expect it to fall through 40 to be honest. Then it did. Then it was sitting there at 30cents and i posted again like uhhhhh bros i'm thinking of legit diving back in.

Went out to dinner, driving back home, checked my app and xrp was at 22cents. At THAT point i knew the market went full potato so i threw some chips on the table. I think it was 2020wellness who pointed out some facts that people just ignored because everyone was high on FUD. 1)XRP trades for 5 years and SEC throws the book at them now as an administration is going out? Suspect. 2) 90% or more of XRP trading/use happens overseas, people behaving like it's going to 0 for an american regulation issue? Stupid.

Not even planning an exit strategy with this bag cause i got it so cheap. Will hold it until XRP returns to a $1 or more, i'm still mostly holding ETH so this is a very merry christmas indeed.

Gains are gains man. Don’t let greed eat at you. One coin in my port I’m never selling is BTC. Only adding to...just think of all the people that are priced out of a full coin. 1 mil per is the goal.

I like Saylor's advice on when to sell: only if there is something so worth it, that brings you either so much joy or help that it's absolutely necessary; a house, paying for a wedding, your dream car once you're good, etc. Taking profits to take profits here and there is almost certainly going to bring regret.

Look at bitcoins graph, a huge correction is surely coming

It could drop from 25k back down to 11k (The most recent resistance) in a matter of days with a few -10% days. Be careful

A drop to $18k is more likely.

Be careful

I guess when you looked at the chart here you must of thought 'bubble' as well:

Guess what this 'bubble' looked like over time?

Spoiler!

Pro tip: You can't predict the top on bubbles, the higher low may be orders of magnitude higher than price you called the top on the run-up. If you can't accept this after 6-7 bitcoin cycles now then you may have to have fun staying poor.

$25 a week in BTC, $10 a week in Ethereum.

Overall portfolio is $2.5k (which is great!).

I did well in 2017, so I am being very cautious now
