Busy day, it's been, so far.

Presuming we don't dump to absolute shit fuck over the next 29 hours, this will be the 6th consecutive week we've had a weekend gap up on CME.

BTC takes no prisoners.
I think you should work on your investment plan and exit strategy. The reason I say that is if you have a well defined strategy, commit to the decision, execute it, you won’t have regrets or make adhoc fomo buys.

Tbh I’m not really innocent here either. But I did have a very simple strategy in 2017: hold until 2022. And I’ve maintained it. One can argue it was a bad strategy (-95+% on some alts), but that’s outcome bias.

I’m not sure how I’d build a new one tbh. It’s easy to say in hindsight “you should’ve had a -25% exit plan on your alts” for example, but at any point it could went down 30% and back up 500%.

People are experts after the fact.

Overall, it’s just very personal. What risk can you tolerate, what percentage of your total net worth are you comfortable with in crypto etc. I think the only way I’d break my “2022 rule” is if BTC 10x and I should really shift some money to index funds.

I’d get pretty uncomfortable if crypto became 20%+ of my NW.

“Big money is turning its back on companies that aren’t conforming to one simple idea…sustainability – and it is fueling one of the biggest transfers of capital the world has ever seen. In fact, within a year, 77 per cent of institutional investors will stop buying into companies that aren’t, in some way, sustainable,” said Oilprice.comHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Most Institutional investors will not buy bitcoin, open your eyes. The biggest hedge funds in the world are pushing to support sustainability. Read between the fukking lines you morons. Black Rock, bridgewater and the other big players will NOT support bitcoin, they will work against it.

"The transformation is being led by the world’s largest global investment management company – New York based Black Rock, Inc., with US$7.81 trillion in assets under management as of Q4 2020."

Fund managers now say climate change is their top concern – and a leading-criterion when deciding where they put their money.
“Sustainable assets already account for $17.1 trillion, but there could be as much as $120 trillion up for grabs. And that’s exactly why sustainable stocks are outperforming the market,” reports Oilprice.com
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink refers to a “fundamental reshaping of finance”, saying: “Climate change has become a defining factor in companies’ long-term prospects.”

If you don´t have money in green companies and green cryptos you´re a fukkin moron. Thats what I´ve been buying lately. Green companies are doing fukkin great. This is the start of the beggining for bitcoin you stupid goblins.
LOL, funny that. That is literally the exact same conclusion that I've come to after research.

They are going to try to reignite the global economy through planned obsolesce of anything that relies on fossil fuel energy. Genius plan, tbh.

Even though this praise is egotisical... You are a smart muthaphucka. I too would invest money in green companies.

You and I seem to have eerily similar views when it comes to economics.

I hope people don't ignore the things that you say.

Ethereum is moving to Proof of Stake. Bitcoin uses way too much power to sustain the network. I don't think it's disappearing within the next few years, but it's not sustainable.

What’s the point of trading when you not only have to face the uncertainty of the “can’t time the market” prophecy but also taxes are gonna take your gain’s anal virginity?

Might as well hodl until it is a crazy percentage of your overall portfolio then cash out a portion for the sake of rebalancing. Hopefully you’ll only need to pay long term capital gains when that happens

Don't pay any taxes where I live after hodling for at least a year.

Gains are taxed, so if you're making gains, taxes aren't going to take them all. For that situation to happen capital gains taxes would need to be set at a rate of 100%. That's not the case.
