If it hits gold market cap at 10t then each coin is 500k according to the math. When it does it’s not stopping there

bitcoin is speculation for idiots. What makes something a usable currency and a profitable investment by definition cannot coexist at the same time. So anyone that tries to get you to buy bitcoin on the basis of anything other than pure speculation is just another dope looking for a bigger idiot to buy it at a higher price than they bought it for. It's value is based on nothing, and we've seen this type of hype with other investments in the past.

Once the masses realize this then the value will plummet. Invest in bitcoin if you want but just make sure you aren't still at the party when the music stops.

"The most entertaining outcome is the most likely"

As absurd that it is, bitcoin and tesla going parabolic and being extremely overvalued. It is entertaning to watch a bubble be created and eventually collapse. There is no thing humans crave more than to be entertained. Humans are not very rational creatures, so expecting a rational outcome is a mistake. Bitcoin is at it´s very core garbage, but that doesn´t stop it in the short term. It´s another ride in the amusement park. It hitting these insane values just proves how irrational people really are. But then again, maybe not, because everyone is steered by greed to make money.

I´m tired of repeating this, but price action and scam has little correlation. Bitcoin could go to 1 million and it would still be garbage. See my sig. The fact that an opinion is widely held is no evidence that it´s not utterly absurd.

The only thing keeping OP from going full Lambo is getting his mom's credit card approved on Coinbase.

Spot on. Especially now with the 'dumb money' flooding in on Bitcoin. Only people buying are those who dont want to 'miss out' on the opportunity to 'get rich' while not caring at all about the value of the underlying asset itself (spoiler alert: none). When people are buying just because they see something going up you know it's time to leave. As the quote goes - when others are greedy, be fearful (bitcoin and tesla owners you are here). When others are fearful, be greedy (airlines, cruise ships, etc.)

It's a speculative investment. However, there is no indication that the music will stop anytime soon.

Please explain to me the 'big picture' on this then. Is it a currency, or a speculative investment that you can get big money on and 'retire early'?

Because you realize that those things by definition are incompatible right? Doubt it. Just another coincel bro

What you bitcoiners seems to fail at understanding is that the foundations of bitcoin are bad. Second, there are a thousand differnt triggers that can collapse the bitcoin price, therefore it´s not a stable store of value, nor is it a good currency. Thats the cold hard truth, and no price action can change that.

Chinese police recently seized close to 200k Btc. For all you know, they could dump it all tomorrow. The US government is another big whale, and there are planty of these whales. You depend on the current narrative to keep going. If the narrative collapses, as it eventually will, whales will unload and drop the price to the bottom of the ocean. Understand that this is possible.

It has been a pretty good store of value in the past for hodlers.
