Have a R9 3900x and 2070 Super, can I sell mine and stretch out a 3080 or jump to a 3090, or is it even worth the 3080/3090 increase in price?

Like most I can't find these fukkers anywhere.

Your desk is probably in an open area and not up against a wall eh? I wall mounted it and just pulled my desk back, worked out pretty good

Heads up that US Tarrifs on some Chinese products just came back into effect and are impacting some (not sure how many) cards. Apparently the ASUS 3090 I just bought is $300 more expensive than it was a few days ago

good thing i locked in a RTX 3070 Founders' Edition at $500 flat +tax

if FE are discontinued and you got AIB's $600 rtx 3070's + their price increase on average of $80.. no thanks $680-$700 for an rtx 3070.

its almost as if every nvidia gpu will move up another price bracket from their performance. 3060ti will be priced at 3070's regular MSRP and 3070 at 3080's regular MSRP..

owning a next gen console never looked better for $500. (srs)

Decided I was gonna build a third system and give one away.

No GPUs in stock. I just wanted a 1660S while I waited for my 3080.
No chance. Isn't in stock before their "placeholder" date for every freaking item.
PSUs out of stock. Coolers out of stock. CPUs out of stock.

Can't decide if I want to go for 3700X or just go full baller and go for 5800X since it's still in stock.
I'l' be running this with a R9 280X till I can get another card, lmao.

i'm on the full build your PC bandwagon, but in this state of gaming, if desperate I would just buy a prebuilt if I needed to start from scratch with every single part.

If you want a 3060 or better it is cheaper to buy prebuilt right now.

Using this OLED for a monitor gives you some good opportunities to experience inky blacks to the max. In a dark room and against a black background I legit lose all sense of where the monitor edges are and things look like they're just floating in the air. You get the same effect with an OLED TV of course, but it's amplified by being so close to a big screen and through the freedom you have with a computer

That's a picture of it in front of me. Every now and then the cursor, a logo in the corner, or something else will catch my eye and I'll go "wtf is that" before realizing what it is and remembering there's a screen

Biden will cancel all the tarrifs

No way that we've seen the worst dirt they had on the Biden family. They got even worse if you can imagine that.

i wonder if they can drop the 83" oled for under 5k. if so things get interesting

edit: the 83" wont come with the new evo display for more brightness and better hdr as you must buy the gallery G1 series and that will cost a fortune

maybe next year then

Ok PC Master Race boyos, it's looking like I'll be getting a decent sized tax return this year. What's the best site to track 3080 availability, and is it even worth it at this point? I literally have spent zero time looking for one as to my understanding they're basically impossible to get at this point (although I see a few miscers in here have gotten lucky). Will rep good answers, thanks!

Pretty much have the keyboard on my lap and mouse pad on the arm rest lol. Good enough for shooters. It's a wide grip so I can also feel it in my pecs for stabilization.

I'm not sure if it's been posted but for those who still need a new gpu/cpu its much easier than most make it out to get

join a discord that has a bot w/ notifications ( I used stockdrops )https://discord.gg/KYBnwYfB

follow the directions in the alert-signup channel, basically just click the emoji of the cpu/gpu you want to be updated on

the bot will automatically notify and link you when your gpu/cpu is in stock on major sites and provide a direct add to card link

need to react fast but it took me a few hours from the time I joined the discord to get my 3070 from newegg since I work from home and I'm always on my pc

all the top sites randomly add **** to their inventory throughout weekdays, much more often than just the scheduled drop times.

Ordered a Ryzen 3600 and HyperX 3600C17 ram that I'll be tuning to either 3600C16 or 3733C1_ depending on how well they respond. (I saw one running 4000C17 on them)

Price to performance wise I have yet to be bottlenecked by my 2600X so a 3600 will probably work just as well.
I paid as much for the cpu and ram as a Ryzen 3700X would've cost.

The case is huge but it's more designed for a custom loop than 3 individual AIO's
