bought more TSM today while they're down, I'm up 30% in the past month on them and I think they'll keep growing earnings with their new 5nm chips, which literally every semiconductor company will be using soon
"Demand for chips has surged. Best-in-class and largest chip contractor, TSMC, has illustrated this significant uptick in semiconductor demand with an exciting earnings report that revealed the sector's bright future. The company is working on an atomic scale that no other manufacturer can match, with 20% of its Q4 revenue being driven by 5nm chips. Intel is falling behind the innovative curve that TSMC is setting. Intel is currently working on manufacturing 7nm transistors, putting them at least 3 years behind TSMC's capability.
TSMC announced in its earnings yesterday that it would be spending $25 to $28 billion to further develop its advanced chip manufacturing to keep up with swelling demand. The company released record quarterly results on Thursday with 22% YoY sales growth and 33% YoY EPS appreciation illustrating substantial margin expansion. Its biggest topline drivers of 2020 were smartphones, high-powered computing, and IoT devices. The biggest and baddest chip innovators like Nvidia and others utilize TSMC's cutting-edge manufacturing."

As convenient as margin is, there are a ton of ways to legit fukk yourself over with it. Look at Harry, he's getting margin called because he doesn't fully understand how it works, and over extended himself. If you get caught with your pants down while on margin, you can get royally fukt. You could face forced liquidation of stocks, before you even have a chance to free up enough funds.

Will continue to wheel it after merger. It isnt a bad company to hold either, 40cent yearly dividend

What are you guys make of the dismantling of the Keystone XL pipeline that Biden is going to push forward? Do you think that will have any sort of cause any movements within the stock market for say in the US or oil industry or Canadian Oil
I've got an ETF that reflects three times the inverse of us oil mainly as a buffer in case things go south if the confidence an oil strikes down after Biden's Proclamation then that inverse ETF will look good.

added another 500 shares of BB. Given their involvement in the EV space, does anyone see why they won't continue to grow?

How its pointing lots are expecting for Amazon to destroy earnings.
I am looking at buying Feb 5th AMZN calls. Thinking $3500 or $3600 strike.
Today is not good day to buy lol.
Good thing PLTR is ripping lol. What fail that was. I was onboard with wsb riding rocket emojii. That crashed and burned.

APXT $17.5 puts going for $3-3.1 IV 110ish
Seems like a good deal for a solid company. Trading in the 15.5+ range right now, but I imagine it'll pick up later in the week.
