bought more TSM today while they're down, I'm up 30% in the past month on them and I think they'll keep growing earnings with their new 5nm chips, which literally every semiconductor company will be using soon

"Demand for chips has surged. Best-in-class and largest chip contractor, TSMC, has illustrated this significant uptick in semiconductor demand with an exciting earnings report that revealed the sector's bright future. The company is working on an atomic scale that no other manufacturer can match, with 20% of its Q4 revenue being driven by 5nm chips. Intel is falling behind the innovative curve that TSMC is setting. Intel is currently working on manufacturing 7nm transistors, putting them at least 3 years behind TSMC's capability.

TSMC announced in its earnings yesterday that it would be spending $25 to $28 billion to further develop its advanced chip manufacturing to keep up with swelling demand. The company released record quarterly results on Thursday with 22% YoY sales growth and 33% YoY EPS appreciation illustrating substantial margin expansion. Its biggest topline drivers of 2020 were smartphones, high-powered computing, and IoT devices. The biggest and baddest chip innovators like Nvidia and others utilize TSMC's cutting-edge manufacturing."

16B valuation, GHIV gets fuk all percentage wise in the deal and its a boomer mortgage company stock. Could have just looked at what RKT has done and expected similar patterns.

vote on merger is today I believe. Also, if it goes through with UWM or whatever, they pay dividends. So there's that.

Everything was way up in my acct though. I only had $130k or so in stocks in the main trading and $22k was on margin. They are all SPAC I wasn't worried too much liquidated GSAH which ended being a good move. Need more money

I made $7k off GHIV total or so, stock has been amazing

Will continue to wheel it after merger. It isnt a bad company to hold either, 40cent yearly dividend

I have 3/19 puts that I'm about 21% green on. Tempted to just close them out, don't know if I want to even bother with it or not.

What are you guys make of the dismantling of the Keystone XL pipeline that Biden is going to push forward? Do you think that will have any sort of cause any movements within the stock market for say in the US or oil industry or Canadian Oil

I've got an ETF that reflects three times the inverse of us oil mainly as a buffer in case things go south if the confidence an oil strikes down after Biden's Proclamation then that inverse ETF will look good.

added another 500 shares of BB. Given their involvement in the EV space, does anyone see why they won't continue to grow?

Google has 20% long-term historical CAGR and is expected to keep that trend going. Google Cloud is the #3 cloud services provider (behind AWS and Azure) but has ~50% annual growth. Google is a fuking beast and they are dirt cheap for the growth opportunities they have and will likely realize over the next few years

Not sure what price I'd guess as I never really paid a tonne of attention to GHIV but it seems like more of a 'safe' stock than the usual meme spacs. The fact GHIV only gets 6% means alot of dilution is coming in eventually

APXT $17.5 puts going for $3-3.1 IV 110ish

Seems like a good deal for a solid company. Trading in the 15.5+ range right now, but I imagine it'll pick up later in the week.
