If you sell it for $4 a watt you make $850 a watt so times 850 by 11 times 1000. If you price it higher than the avg you’ll make more. I’ll probably be selling it $3-$4 a watt on avg.
It's commission

What is going to be the average you male per sale?

5 sales per week also seems unlikely

What's your best year so far and what do you actually think you'll make this year?

Door to door sales is a hard pass for me either way

I kno but basing it off my numbers I’m assuming I can do 5. I can easily run 3-5 same day appointments a day. 6 days a week that’s 18-30 and I’m 100% sure I can close a few of those. In my state I’ve been able to do 3-6 sales a week in a saturated af market so this will be good.

You didn't answer my questions

What's the actual dollar amount you expect to make per sale

What's your best year in terms sales so far? How much have you made selling solar in one year?

What do you anticipate you'll make selling solar in Dallas this year?

Yeah good on you. If I do the same I work I’m certain I’d be numbwr 1 in the company. I’m always top percentile in d2d. And that obviously translates to normie sales jobs.
Like an example. I was given a list to cold call to set up solar appointments. I’ve never done phone salws before. And every person I spoke to already had a dozen companies call them today. In 1 hour I set up 10 people. Every person but 1 person that answered i set up. Pretty sure id dominate in any sales job Srs

I know at salesforce they ask BDRs to take a different office tower every 2 weeks and then knock on random lobby doors at various company’s. Gatekeepers are usually easier to handle in person.

Institutional sales guys are doing the same thing but with family offices, pension funds etc

Dollar amount is 9300 as I said above. That’s take home. In the last 3 I’ve ranged 100-170 but I’m in a bad market and only been working 25-30h a week. So for the hours can’t complain. And the average sale off self gen was 3k while off setters half of that.

hawaiian market is saturated because theres an incentive to have solar. electricity here is the highest in the nation, so people are very much interested in it. areas like texas, florida, and arizona is prime because its not saturated and you can combine it with geothermal heating/cooling.

edit:
the downside is that electricity there doesnt cost much, so there might not be any urgency to get on solar

Yes low multiples in 2021. Hopefully hitting 7 figures in 2022.

Combo of remote work, owning one business, and in the process of starting multiple businesses with my dad.

Ah, see that makes perfect sense. People literally got rich off of solar 5+ years ago.

Everyone with money already has solar.

The fact you talking out of your ass shows you don’t know anything. Not every market is the same. You don’t need to be rich for solar. All you need is a credit score of 650+. It just replaces power bill with cheaper solar bill. Anyone can do it. Just lol. Sounds like u jelous

Not hating, just healthy skepticism

Tons of frauders out there

Commission amount seems very high after a few quick google searches (Obviously I'm not in this field so that doesn't necessarily hold weight)

5 sales a week seems high

Moving to a new area and expecting to make it big right out the gates

Just a lot of doubt that's all

Also comment "Everyone who does sales should be able to do door to door" is pretty lulsy

My first offer Bt vivint came very close to this. They have it structure differently. Also because I’ve done d2d salws for years I’m very good. Ans maybe not right away but soon after. I’m basing this off my current numbers in my current state. I’m not a frauder like most pekple. I’ll be posting my first major pay check for proof. Look if I was brand new had zero connections and thought this then yes I’d most likely be wrong. Bht I have experience snd kno tons of pros srs
