I'd expect much of that ratings decline comes form losing much of the 13% black viewership.
This is probably the truth. Black women dont want to see him pick a White or Asian woman.

I've never watched it but I assume it's terrible, and the guy in the OP looks about as goofy as me so probably a bad pick. I'd attribute it to crap quality and an average looking dude more than anything.

I used to watch it. When they had smokeshows on there. Even some of the dudes were pretty cool. Haven’t really kept up with it in like 2 years because it’s absolutely turned to **** with the agenda pushing.

Kristina Schulman and Jen Saviano were absolute rockets. They also came with the least drama and seemed to fade into the background. Go figure.

The show was never award winning, but now it’s become a circus of PC culture.

He is very boring. My GF watches the show, and I'll sometimes watch it with her, but even she is annoyed how everything is even more obviously scripted than before. They probably did this because of his lack of personality.

Checked it, it is/was actually hitting season highs, but it tanked compared to overall ratings.

The premier had lower ratings than any other premier. From what I saw the show is #1 in it's timeslot and is getting more viewers week by week (season highs) - but it is still underperforming previous seasons.

In the lead role of the bachelor or bachelorette if it isn't a white person, folks won't be that interested in it. This isn't new especially when it comes to the theme of romance this is what society is entertained by and those female viewers are mostly white people either way.

If they want to add diversity in it, just add a few black dudes in the competition for bachelorette lol, no one would care.
