looking into it, I'm right. AMC is going up (actually a lot more than AMCX), but not because of the gamma squeeze on Melvin capital. AMCX is the one affected by the Melvin capital meltdown, as its on the most shorted list. Shorted stocks surging the last few days is causing margin calls across many broker that are heavily shorted, causing this stock to rise.

Unless you guys want to turn this into "here's the latest random stock that is SURE to SKYROCKET!!!!!!!!!!!"

i love going to the movies in theory but idk? i turned my bonus room into a movie theater room for my family. so now it doesnt cost me 60 dollars or whatever.

People are saying they don't think Gamestop as a brick and mortar will be around due to Microsoft/Sony/Steam etc. I disagree. I've actually online shopped at Gamestop in the last year because of retro video games. Right now there's only Ebay, Goodwill, some small shops with online stores, and Gamestop. I think PS2 and other systems not thought of as retro a couple of years ago, will start catching on because of people getting older and nostalgia kicking in. Can't pirate the newer systems as easily because the size of the games are so huge.

i dont think they would have to pivot much to be legitimate. i love going into retro game stores, i have the retro bit duo.

i walked into a brick and mortar last year that sold warhammer shiit? idk what that is really. this was an expensive retail space run by two slavs. edit- point being i cant imagine it takes some kind of wide audience to run a functional retail space after i seen that. i made the guy explain to me three times wtf they actually sold.
