Tesla is massively overvalued right now along with a number of other similar stocks, they should be shorted. That's part of the effort you put in and the risk you take. If the stock valuation justifies itself over the long term and you bet that it would despite what other people were saying, then you deserve to win.

How many retail value investors want a piece of the Tesla pie but don't want to buy in at a ridiculous valuation? If the shorts came to fruition, it would open the stock up to these people who actually look at the businesses. This feels entirely driven by retail speculators who genuinely believe that stonks should only go up, everyone should make money and take no risk
