I'm guessing they initiated a shiet ton of margin calls on people who didnt have the cash in their account to cover on everyone they could to recoup the losses. Completely legal and one reason you better have cash in your margin accounts..

Yeah you definitely were a margin account and they made you cover dude. It's legal, they don't want to be holding the bag when the bottom falls out and all the nerds on margin accounts down -50,000 with 800 in their bank accounts.

Got $20 left . Just made amc jump boyyyyy pretty sure I had the lowest in at $2 went to an average of $4 now.

Where do I put this $20?

I'm full cash brotha, no margin... I wondered the same yesterday when someone's GME got sold in the low 100s. I assumed they were on margin.

They did it to my friend too. He had over 2000 shares of AMC

Had set a limit sell to close order on an apple call...it literally disappeared. I went to check on it when the price hit my target and it's like I never placed it. Nice.

IDK then brah if its not a margin account it has to be illegal. Even if it is a margin account, they can't do a call if you have cash to cover.

Best part is that MMs cheated blatantly. Brb work with RobbingHood and sell retail investors positions at the low of the day while they engineer a low volume crash, exit shorts, and ride puts down. At the same time, they went long on every meme ticker at the low.

Tldr, ******* MMs exited shorts at a lower loss and made billions riding it down and back up.

Are these stop-loss or stop-limit?

Stop-loss gets triggered at stop price and filled at market price.
Stop-limit gets triggered by stop- price and filled to limit price.

Anyone reading this who might be unsure...
If you set one price for your stop sell, it is a stop-loss and will fill at market price. If there is a short attack, then you will likely fill way below your stop.

If you set two prices for your sell, then it is a stop- limit.

Not all brokers will offer both or any of the above.

Everyone is starting to realize this. BTC, TSLA and GME are perfect examples of what's happening.
