Even the marketplaces are rough, had a TUF 3080 lined up and the person just straight up flaked on me

But did manage to get a 5800x through ******** for a reasonable mark-up so it wasn't all bad

not directly related to this thread, but I successfully recovered a alt runescape account I had wayy back in the day (can't get the main one). I didn't know what was on it, if anything.

There has been serious inflation on RS3 since a bunch of high rollers decided to buy up all rare items and limit supply. They only sell when they need some serious cash. Therefore basically all rares are max cash stack.

Still no luck getting a 5900x or 3080 here. I was all over the Best Buy drop of 5900x the other day and still no luck. 3080's forget about it. It seems like 3090s are somewhat more manageable if you act quick. Everybody appears to be spending their "stimulus" checks on PS5 and CPU/GPUs, and here I am getting nothing again because I'm completely phased out lol.

Dang the prices have really gone up. I actually think i'm going to try to get a 3090. Looks like I could get a pretty penny for my 2080ti making it a reasonable price to pay for a 3090 despite it not being a great value next to a 3080.

Does best buy say ahead of time when they putting them up? Seems like the 3090s are actually lasting a few minutes. These cards are a pain to get lol. I had no real issue getting a ps5 or series x last november but these RTX cards fuuuu

Made it to the big leagues boyos. Have an EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3090 Hybrid inbound and my number just came up for a 3080 Strix.

Already sold off the 3090 FEs.

Glad I bought a 3080 when it was in stock.
My 3080 bought on launch has an estimated in-stock date in april.

What is the MSRP for these 3090s these days. I have that discord posted earlier and i've seen a few in stock 3090s but they were like $2200 or so. The only 3080 I got to fast enough was like 1500. Hmmm

Founders Edition (Best Buy exclusive) is 1499. The rest range from 1600 to 2400.

Building a new rig, bad timing though for sure.

I have most of the parts, but I'm stuck in a rut waiting on a GPU. I have a R5 3600 on the way for now, but got lucky to place an order on Amazon for a 5800X for a 24 march delivery. I really want to grab a 6900XT.

Specs of PC I'm building soon:

MSI X570 MEG Unity mobo
R5 3600 to be replaced w/ 5800X soon after
64GB @ 3600MHz
2TB WD SN850 PCIe 4.0 m.2
1TB WD SN850 PCIe 4.0 m.2
Hoping I can get my hands on a 6900XT soon

Housing it all in a Corsair 4000X Case. I'm spray painting it OD Green and going to get stencils and yellow paint to put M2 Ammo nomenclature on the side to make it look like a big .50bmg ammo can.
