Gas station cashier. Especially the nigh shift.
- Even the scum of the earth thinks we are lower than them and they can give us a hard time.
- Seeing how chitty people are.
- Management was scum of the earth.
Night Stocker at grocery store.
- just monotonous AF and they would want so much done in a short time.
Mover (Driver because I had a CDL)
- manual labor of peace - back breaking, litterally.
- I was the only one that wasn't a convicted felon.
I've worked several jobs that were the same thing but because of factors in that one spot made a night and day difference. I'm an automotive tech (mechanic) and I've worked some shops that were almost unbelievable as far as how bad they were, and others where I didn't take vacation because I loved it there so much. I've had places I worked go from one side to the other. When you are a green mechanic, usually a oil/tire changer, you get treated like garbage and expected to work really hard.

IT Desk.
Wasn't all bad, but it was a lot of social interaction lol, which has its own pros and cons. Disliked having to work with a lot of the people who were needy, especially needy on a daily basis about trivial crap. Lotta dumb questions, and things I couldn't help with anyways half the time. Worst paying job I've ever had too, $9/hr starting, eventually promoted to $10. The coworkers made it great though.

slaughterhouse, only a student job though lol
3 slaughter days (Mo, We, Fr) where the day started with bandwork for sucking out the bone marrow from thousands of pigs that were sawn in half

Servicing the shtter on our C-130's. Any enlisted that flies on our C-130s (USCG) knows how to do it. Or has done it. The way we do it is clean.
I had our shtter serviced by ground crew in American Samoa. Guy carried out a barrel and a hose that attaches to the outlet. Note....guy is an amputee, he only had one hand. Emptied everything into the barrel and then carried the barrel away by hand. I could see he was getting splashed. I liked him, very hard worker, did his best, worked hard and smiled at it.

BRB always working when friends want to go out
BRB spend all night pushing your way through crowds of drunks, people spilling drinks on you, cleaning up vomit, etc
BRB go home absolutely stinking of cigarette smoke
BRB expected to also be part-time security because the owners were too cheap to hire enough bouncers
Stuck it out for a few months before they put me behind the bar. That was a good job.

My very first entry level job at a hospital. Sat in a cubicle for 8 hours a day/12 bucks an hour, most of my coworkers were... odd (to put it nicely), the work was mind numbingly boring, and I had to track every minute of my productivity lol. Lasted 3 months before I found something better and left.
To this day I still think back to those few months and the people I worked with. It was dominated by obese older females that had worked there for many years, if not decades. They were nice, but lacked social skills and had weird tendencies lol.

I did work at McDonalds back in the day. Enough said.
There was also this 'sales office' I worked at for one day. But left as it seemed dodgy as hell. It was some scruffy office in a block just outside of the city. There was no real vetting or checking to see who I was, I was just asked to turn up and fill in a photocopied form asking for my bank details. There was very little in the way of training. The furniture looked like it had been pulled from a trash heap and was all mismatched. The place was generally a mess. I'm not even sure how legit the set-up was.

Was once hired as a jr. marketing associate, and the project I was hired for was cancelled the day before I started. Asked the manager what I should do, and he said “I don’t know, figure it out.” They kept me on, but reprimanded me daily for not doing my job. Lol. Anytime I tried doing something productive they told me it wasn’t part of my job description.
To add insult to injury, there was an unwritten rule at the company that you had to be at your desk before the boss came in the morning, and never leave before him. He was there from 7am to 6pm.

They expect you to neatly stack packages of all different shapes and sizes like a Tetris expert
Supervisors who are complete douchebags
Non stop avalanche of boxes
Expected to move like Greased Lightning
etc
"Consultant" at a Big Financial Firm -
It was a glorified Call Center job
Everything you did was tracked and recorded
You were responsible for A LOT of information, and thrown in after meager amount of training
etc
Honorable mention - Food Service (especially Dairy Queen, one that served food), the Navy, Shoe store (the boredom was awful), Cold Call sales (I only stayed a week, so that's why it only gets an honorable mention).

Mostly factory and food plant jobs. 50C next to ovens in the summer. A workforce made up of immigrants with no other options, people that were on welfare forced to work, and people that gave up on life. The work was disgusting consisting of cleaning up rotting food from drains for 12 hours overnight, and working with some of the most miserable fuking kunts I've ever met. I once told my Iranian boss with the most toxic attitude to go fuk himself, threw a hose at his feet, and quit and went home. I called human resources, bitched them out, and told them to mail me my last pay check as I was never stepping foot in that cancerous place again.
I've worked in graveyards digging graves, smelling corpse juice emanating from the coffin next to where we were digging; I picked up garbage on the side of the highway like I was part of a chain gang. Nothing compares to food plant factory work.
As a result, I appreciate my life now every day.

Concierge / front door bitch for million dollar condos. All of the residents were nice but it was definitely lowest I've felt at a job. Brb gotta yell at customers from neighboring businesses not to park in our designated zone or else the residents will complain to me. Brb gotta jump out outta my seat every single time a resident entered or exited to hold the door open and greet them. Having that job in my early 20's definitely motivated me to do better.

One of the worst: selling perfume at the entrance of Victoria's Secret (in the mall) for 8 hours daily during the holidays!
Why: It was too physically restrictive and monotonous just standing there and bullch$tting with people about the exotic scents of 'the Islands' for all those hours straight. That's all management hired me to do, and I dreaded the lack of physical activity during "down time."
But the bright side: I was able to attract a ch&tload of attention (I looked like a commecial model at the time) and bring in the customers, including some good-looking lunch dates
, so I was able to sell enough to meet their quotas for the season. It was promotional, so these jobs were temporary.. thank God.

When I was 16 my friends mom got us the "hookup" with a summer job at the US Forestry Dept. On day 1, our job was to walk behind this tractor that was uprooting these saplings up out of the ground. We had to gather the loose saplings and put them in these big blue crates we were carrying then stack the crates in this pickup that was driving slowly along the side of us.
It absolutely sucked ass. We did it the entire morning. It was so unbelievably humid and sticky. And the real heat of the day hadnt even hit yet. At noon we took a break for lunch. My buddy and I went to my pickup to eat our lunches and i just looked at him and said "dude, im done with this job". He said "good, me too". And I just started up the truck and we drove off and never came back. We didnt even bother telling anyone that we quit.
