I think it's probably true that they were simply too small ball to handle this.

I read over that while I ate lunch. Cuban's answers on this topic were pretty straight-up and even-handed.

I would like to think I could trust Mark Cuban from his actions but you really never know who they are behind closed doors, that's the thing. He could be bought and sold for and be putting on a front, I really have no idea. The interview with the Robinhood CEO was a trainwreck, which raises concern. Overall, everything that the media/elites have been doing is complete bullchit, it doesn't just boil down to "they didn't have enough capital to fund the fight". Clearly there is some nefarious chit going on with them doing everything in their power to get the stock of GME to lower.

I think there's a lot of room for that to be true about Robinhood, but also no evidence that they weren't simply running a very bad brokerage and crumbled. If you'd asked me a month ago about RH, I would have told you to get out of it and go with Schwab, Vanguard, or Fidelity. That's still my advice. (I like Schwab because their traditional banking services are also sick, otherwise I'd probably be at Vanguard or Fidelity.)

Either way, lawd at those spreads on GME. Consistently popping over a dollar. Maybe it's time to settle this with trial by combat.

Feel bad for all the people on WSB doubling down on this thinking it's some kind of sale.

I ate a pretty big loss (although my actual buy was only $1k) on AMC, and it definitely sucks. But buyingmoreright now? C'mon man.

This thing is over. After the initial run up it was essentially a pump and dump. If you think people with billions on the line haven't covered already, you're insane.

This. The big squeeze and run up already happened in my opinion. If you were able to get out at the top of 400 ish, then good for you. Seems like pure cope on WSB saying to hold the lines or buy this dip.

I think the hedge fund already took their beating and have now out maneuvered WSB and the like.

If it goes up again, good for anyone still involved. I don't see it happening.

The mods seem to be keeping it in place. Anything I've seen that reaches top/hot all has the same message pretty much. That's what most people see.

GME still says its shorted 121%. I'm not a stock guy but if the Wall Street guys are bleeding, I applaud WSB diamond hand boyos for bleeding them out still and hope they continue.

ironically 100$ might be the actual value given the exposure and strangeness. they have infrastructure for "something". they are nearly a household name. they arguably have a dedicated following. like if you fast-forward a year from now if they are able to pivot hard.

Except I would bet anyone that got in below $100 probably cashed out at this point.

The ones calling for diamond hands are the ones that are in the red and praying they can pump this back up so they can also cash out.

Wall Street likely covered any potential losses by riding this both up and down. Yeah, they may still eat the short, but it's irrelevant at this point.
