Why the phuck would I throw ANY $ I can't afford to lose on a speculative stock and ride the wave? The best time to buy is when no one wants to. AMZN was down to $1750 earlier last year. The opportunity of a lifetime.
If you bought this 2 weeks ago, and got out, you'd have made a chunk of change. But idiots buying options on this chit deserve to be where they are.
Cramer is kind of a fraud who loves humping stocks at 52 week highs, but he's right. "PIGS GET SLAUGHTERED."

I mean, even if he believes in the long term viability of the company (which was the reason he even bought it in the first place), how could you not sell at $400, which would be probably a higher valuation than if the company actually corrected it's course over night

Heres my take
So everyone is claiming that retail investors derailed hedgefunds. But, who knows who actually pulled the strings here. There are multiple millionaire and billionaire hedgefund managers who made millions off Gamestop and AMC. Michael Burry who shorted the housing market and owns his own hedgefund, may of profited $250 million off of his gamestop investments. Any retail investor who lost money technically made this guy richer which is the opposite of what they were "fighting" for.
Heres my take on what actually happened
- A group of redditors invested early and convinced thousands of others to invest also.
- the early investors made alot of money and got out asap
- while every one kept saying hold or buy more, the smart investors knew this was the time to sell
- Pump and dump, ponzi scheme stock bubble screwed over some hedgefunds but screwed over everyone stupid enough to lose money.
What we saw was a genius play for people to brainwash others to get rich. I doubt that anyone is gonna pump this anywhere near its highs or pump it at all. Cant compare this to bitcoin, because bitcoin is based off of pure speculation. Gamestop is a failing company thats not making profit and probably will keep losing money.

When I started hearing about it was Thursday. By then I knew, well believed, GME was about to crash. So I avoided it. But there was also a lot of hype for AMC without the GME gains. So I bought a decent amount knowing it could all come down but thinking there could be a short term surge. Had a feeling the hype would die down through the weekend. Sold it all Monday morning before it crashed for a decent profit.
Horny.

I was one day too late getting in on the AMC stock or else I would've gotten a decent pay out. Instead I got in at 15.77, and had a gut feeling it was going to all go downhill yesterday so I sold at 15.94 Monday morning when the prices surged. Best decision I made because I almost got greedy again

He's a good friend of mine, but I wasn't too shocked to see him get his hopes up for it like that. I've literally sat at a bar while this dude spent $100 fresh off his latest paycheck buying pull tabs that he won literally $0 on. He blew $25 on $1 pull tabs, then kept spending in more rounds of $25 out of frustration of losing until he blew a full $100. Kept getting pissed he hadn't won even a chitty $5 ticket or something after spending so much, and began desperately hoping to cash in on the final $300 one the bar said was left in the tab tank, on a then close to empty tank. Then some guy in a group of boomers at a table across from us pulled the $300 winner by buying like 3 pull tabs, meaning my buddy literally enabled the guy to get lucky like that by wasting $100 of his money.
Even seeing chit like that always turned me off from gambling, which is largely how I view trying to get significant money in the stock market (like as if it's a huge part of one's income), especially day trading normies. For every person who has any sort of real success with it, there are many thousands who just waste their time basically spinning their tires at best, if not losing money when it comes to stocks.

That's much closer to what I'd call *real-world* investing, you're basically buying businesses that will generate money for you through their operation. The focus on stock price and speculation is strong af right now, but there's a whole world of depth beyond that floating number
Helped by our strong af desire for get-rich-quick schemes, and that will never change

Also, as discussed, he has 13mill CASH from all of this. From here on out, these are just numbers on a screen to him. I 100% guarantee that. He has a cash reserve that sets him for life, and if he holds, all he does is encourage more idiots to FOMO in, and get more opportunity to trim and replenish. If this is still going on by April (when his calls expire), he will hold until the last day, and buy more for July, as long as smooth brains are still "APES STRONG TOGETHER' over there. It's brilliant for him to hold tbh. Because it will keep inspiring abject morons to keep dumping their money in for as long as they can.

Still holding 100 gme shares. Will they pay out?? Most likely not. Worth 10gs right now, no point of pulling out. Gme is still over 100% shorted. The shorts will have to cover at some point.
Also I made over 250k on gme so all you losers can suck my balls while I pull up in my lambo. Yolo

Anyway....as a very experienced day trader who makes millions (not exaggerating) the funny thing is WSB is 100% controlled by a hedge fund or two and they used the peons there to pump these stocks and get a free promo out of it.
If you go back and look at the charts, all these stocks have the same M.O. Down in Oct. Back up in Nov. A slow and steady rise through Dec and mid Jan, and then boom a 'short squeeze'.
Anyone who knew anything about the markets would know that the posters from WSB do not have anywhere near the $billions needed to move these stocks. It's a bunch of kids.
Hedge funds, the very people these people claim to hate, are behind it.

I make a very nice living buying stocks and companies I like at their yearly lows and averaging down until the chart turns.
Why anyone would buy a broke, BK company that is STILL up 500% in the past 10 days? Not good.
