Just rewatched Blade Runner. Was pretty amazed at the soundtrack, fitted the movie.
Would have been even better if the movie included more of the themes of the book.

2049 was really good too.

Goes to show that you don't need really annoying music in cyberpunk-themed movies and games.

Interstellar was amazing also.

Thought this was just regular soundtracks, was going to give GoTG, Pulp Fiction, Ready Player One, Baby Driver, etc.

But best original score for a movie? Probably Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope

The Godfather, LOTR, Jaws, Back to the Future, Blade Runner, The Dark Knight, and Jurassic Park are up there.

Grab a copy of the movie because it's getting canceled due to the following:
Promotes slut shaming
Promotes homophobia
Promotes bullying
Promotes rape culture
Promotes toxic masculinity
Is considered racist due to the lack of diversity of the characters

LOL.

Funny thing is that a staunch Feminist movie critics went to bat for the movie, trying to spin it as a empowering female film. (For the record, I actually really like this feminist movie critics channel about films and TV series, even if I don't agree with their conclusions, they presents their case well.)

don't think it's the best score overall, but this is probably my favorite original song written for a movie:

Listening again to the original score... Once Upon A Time In America gets my vote. I forgot how incredible it is.

The Cloud Atlas theme has a profound affect on me though. Ded Srs. As cheesy at it sounds, the music mixed with the message of the film always 'wakes me up' to what's important in life...

Probably the most beautiful original song I've heard in a film.
