Brahs with normal sleep patterns, how is life?

I sleep an average of 4 hours on work days

Most of my life can be described as walking around in a concussion like daze but it can be overcame when needed

But also it hasn’t been bad enough for me to actively attempt to stick to a sleep schedule. If I just went to bed earlier I could sleep more but I choose not to

I assumed most people were like this but I was amazed to hear most people sleep like 7 hours at least. I bet it’s amazing

4 hours a day crew checking in. I wish I could sleep more. Haven't been affected greatly by it (yet) but I fear when (if?) I get older (40+) what would happen if I keep going like this.

Have always slept 7-9 hours. Used to be an athlete and that made me tired enough to sleep like a newborn baby 8 hours+

Now I just make sure my workouts are intense and I'm out like a light every night. I can probably count on one hand every year how many days I have had less than 7 hours of sleep.

Always been huge on that. Also never "sleep in."

8 hours a night is perfect for me. I do remember when i was younger, partying all night till 9 am, then working 10am to 11pm, then working out after till 1am, you catch a second wind, but the sleep you get is epic lol.

Yeah that second wind is what I mean, If you just Lay around exhausted without smelling the “rest” is worse than staying busy.

Wish I could stay asleep. My body randomly wakes up 3 times on average every night so I never get more than a few hours of deep sleep.

It's never random. Either you choked trying to breathe or something externally woke you up (sound, being touched). One other reason is jolting awake during sleep paralysis, but your brain didn't keep memories of it.

I've never been able to maintain a regular sleep schedule ever since I was 10 years old. I don't think my body is calibrated to the 24 hour cycle. Seems like my day cycle is tuned to 36 hour days

Get your sleep in order dude, it's not worth the extra leisure time you think you're getting. Especially when you're barely productive from lack of sleep.

I'm gradually rolling back my bed time, Used to be 2-3am but i'm about to hop off now. Going for midnight or earlier and some reading. Then I'm out like a light for 6-8 hours.

I always wake up several times a night. For many many years, but for the past several months now I can't fall back to sleep or if I do it's right before the alarm goes off.

Mine has been terrible for the past couple months and it's killing me. I need 7-8 hours and I'm prob not even getting 6. Could be worse but it's every single night so I can't catch up. I'm also not a napper and can't nap to make up for it. I had a physical a few weeks ago and talked to the Dr about it and she prescribed me two different sleeping pills to try to see what works and neither are keeping me asleep all night.

I sleep an average of 7.5-8 hours after being in bed for like 5 minutes. I've had friends with sleeping problems, like legit they couldn't sleep before 2am unless they were high as balls and I just feel so bad for those type of people.

Some people do legit need less sleep but they seem to be the exception rather than the rule. I have some tips but im sure everyone here knows them (no coffee after 2pm, workout a couple times a week and legit just atop thinking about random **** at night)

Bolded is my biggest problem. I wake up and then my brain starts going and I can't shut it off. I've tried breathing exercises, counting from 100 down to 0, counting sheep, etc. Doesn't work.

You have a good diet?

The only thing that really disturbs my sleep is diet.

For example when I drink I can't sleep a full 7-8 hours and often wake up every 2-3 hours.

I don't wake up because I have to piss or anything, just being drunk somehow disturbs my sleep.

When I say good diet I mean eating little to no processed foods.

You're not eating healthy because you're eating Lean Cuisines and Lean Pockets.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

I noticed when I’m on EC stack I’m always tired in the morning even with a full night’s sleep, until I take my dose.

But when I’m not on it, I wake up fine after a full night’s sleep.
