I can see BTC re-testing $20K in the very near future.

Every post by the Mosie just like milk. They say whatever there’s a correction I get out no it’s over. They’re just sad that they didn’t get in when they could’ve do this until they die unfortunately they missed out on a once in a human lifetime opportunity. This will never happen especially if bitcoin makes it and becomes in Clover reserve currency this opportunity will never happen twice for anyone ever

I hope you listen to the talk. He literally tried to use lightening (if memory serves he and the developers tried for 6 months to integrate it into the tests of their platform), and he says it's not up to standard. In their tests Bitcoin Cash worked better.

He also says that he's open to using lightning if it improves for use by developers to integrate into projects/platforms, but right now it's not as useable as Bitcoin Cash.

Kim dotcom is no dummy when it comes to tech, if he says it's not useable for his high scale project then I would believe him.

There are some interesting dynamics going on here. Tesla selling over $12billion in new stock last year on the back of the insane stock price rally, then turning around and buying Bitcoin with part of it

Tesla buying this BTC and talking about accepting it as payment while the CEO's social media presence has so much apparent power over the price

Inb4 Elon starts pumping and dumping BTC to generate bigger profits on vehicle sales

Of course it's not the only way, but can you point out a faster way that requires as little effort? I'm pretty sure BTC has maybe every major stock beat in % gains in the 10 year chart, 5 year chart and even 3 year chart.

Weird how in the 1990s and 2000s that being a Nerd was bad.

Now everybody is introverted, goes ball deep on Tesla stock and now maybe Crypto.

Honestly I'm starting to believe in the Mandela Effect. I'm transporting between dimensions.

Wish I had invested in or mined BTC in my uni dorm back in 2013. I actually knew of it but didn't imagine it getting so big. Even had a digital wallet but I didn't buy anything. £100 would be like £20000 now lol. Oh well.

From a purely technical point I'm more interested in ETH and the running of dApps on its blockchain network so I've bought a small amount of Ether as a result.

Let’s be real T no one’s buying bitcoin cash even if it’s better corner that guy which it’s not. Especially due to the money aspect really kills it because corruption will make it die fast. Unless Elon musk bought bitcoin cash it’s not gonna go anywhere especially with all the institutions that will be calling him shortly. Just a dream that will never happen

It's literally no. 11https://www.coingecko.com/en

It has a growing userbase in Thailand, Venezuela, and The Philippines. Precisely because of it's low transaction fees.

Bitcoin Cash has wealthy people backing the project, Roger Ver, Marc De Mesel and Kim Dotcom. All 3 invest and organize projects for it to be used. Marc De Mesel is currently setting up a group of investors to create more projects centred around Bitcoin Cash being used as a currency.

I also think Kim Dotcom's project is going to as big as Patreon, and he is literally making Bitcoin Cash the primary payment method.

I really would not write Bitcoin Cash off. You could be right though, noone knows what projects are going to survive long term.

Elon Musk is just pumping BTC cuzzz. When he tweeted out the name of some company and an unrelated business's stock jumped 10% immediately, he figured out that he had the Power of the Pump in his hands.

When pumped businesses are pumping already-pumped coins, it's hard to say that the market isn't in irrational exuberance mode.

Even if I thought crypto currency was the biggest pile of chit (I'm pretty agnostic) I would still have a small portion of my portfolio in it. The narrative is just going to feed on itself and create a huge feedback loop.

Fed printing mass amounts of money/government spending ---> devaluing dollar (which will be a secular) --> individuals/institutions looking for a place to put helicopter money --> sending price up ----> crushing shorts/sucking in FOMOers/converting more haters ----> sending price up ----> rinse and repeat

This is how supercycles happen. Yes, it could be wiped away with the stroke of a pen tomorrow but who cares if its only 2% of your portfolio. The pain trade is not owning any.

Bitcoin is already regulated. The crypto space in general is already regulated. No companies can sell ICO tokens to US citizens. BTC is taxed as capital gains. ETH was declared not to be a security. It's been added to IRS tax forms.

Why do you idiots assume that people that do not invest in bitcoin are broke or stupid? It's legit the most autistic argument there is.

I'll wait til it drops below 10k during an economic slump, bound to happen if it's previous history is any indication.

That being said, I've always considered 80/10/10 (stocks/metals/crypto) to be the GOAT allocation.

Only own Ethereum myself, and only sitting around a $2500 net profit, but it'll come down too and I'll buy the dip.

In retrospect, it was inevitable.

Those that bought BTC below $5000 will inherit the Earth, those that don't have any will be reduced to serfdom, consigned forever to have their wealth diluted by defecit spending.

Broke: If you had a lot of disposable income the odds you would but a small fraction of your networth in something like Bitcoin is highly likely. Even Benjamin Graham recommends this. Therefore if you don't own any it's most likely due to you being in poor economic status.

Stupid: There's a decade worth of data to suggest where BTC is headed and sticking your head in the sand makes you dumb. Even just looking at the past market cycles is a good indicator you should own a small fraction.

Nothing autistic at all about the argument. You're just ignorant and/or poor. Stay mad.

Yup

There are plenty of ways to make money, it’s not all one thing or all another. I’ve been interested in investing for only like five years and have seen multiple events that could have made someone extremely wealthy under perfect circumstances

There are even still old fashioned ways to make money while also contributing something of value to the world

If you want completely open and trackable digital ledger and currency, that is literally what central banks are working on. Every transaction will be viewable, traceable and controllable by central banks.

Would you be open to watching a 20 minute video from award winning journalist Glenn Greenwald about why Privacy is important? (One of the journalists that Edward Snowden trusted with his classified documents.)

That being said, I've always considered 80/10/10 (stocks/metals/crypto) to be the GOAT allocation.

We really don't know what will happen with crypto in an economic slump. The last major one it wasn't a factor. Last time, metals soared like eagles. As of right now, crypto's are competing for the investor's money against stocks that are also doing very well right now. Imagine stocks start to plummet and people pull their money out and BTC is still climbing and everyone starts pumping up BTC, and hopefully DOGE too.
