Even on newegg, last gen lower level cards are around $350, it's mind blowing. I found a website that has 6900XTs up for bid, but I don't want to pay a $400 premium. I may have to.

Since it got no replies in the other IT thread:
Wondering if someone can help here.
So my previous computer up until October 2020 was a Mac.
It was the top of the line one back in 2015. So it was nearing 6 years old.
When I would download movies (I could download multiple torrents at a time) - I could use my computer normally as if nothing was happening. Surf the internet. Watch youtube videos. Everything.
However now, with a computer I've built.
- Ryzen 3900x
- 32G of 3600 ram
- MSI x570 motherboard
Yet when I download just a single torrent on (what should be a beast of a machine) I am left unable to browse the internet freely, because I will glide my mouse across the screen, then it will freeze in place, then jerk forward eventually. Rinse and repeat the entirety of the download.
If i'm watching a Youtube video of even something I'd already downloaded on VLC media player, it will play for a little bit then pause and the sound will stop playing normally and make a weird noise as if it was being dragged out (horrible explanation I know) then resume again, then rinse and repeat.
Anyone know why the F this is happening?
A computer nearly 6 years old didn't have this problem yet this machine does?

You didn't mention if you're running Linux or Windows, if I'd hazard a guess, you're running Windows.
Install drivers for your network card and chipset drivers atleast.
Did you set your ram to docp 3600 MHz in bios?

It finally happened. Scored a reference 3070.
Wanted a 3060 TI, but when my stock feed came back I went to the Best Buy website and the 3070 was already sitting in my cart ready to check out.
I learned from last time you DO NOT Change shipping types and you take what you can get.
Sure beats New Egg entering you in a drawing to see who can pay a $200 mark up and get fisted in the process with other **** you don't need.

My local MC got a YUGE shipment of Ryzen 5900x and 5950x CPU.
5900 Sold out within the day, but I wanted the 5950x so I picked that up

Got a hold of a 6900XT, so my build is pretty much complete, just have to assemble it when I get back home.
Anyway, with my X570 mobo and the 5800X, I have 24 PCIe 4.0 lanes. Do I have enough to run the GPU and 2 NVMe drives? The GPU and 2 NVMe drives would utilize all 24 lanes, but from what I read, the chipset itself need 4 lanes to function. Will I be crippling the SSDs if I run 2 NVMe drives?

Nvidia is fuking with me...
Playing a heavy modded version of Fallout 4 and I am locked at 72 FPS. GPU is only at 39%, but I can't figure out why it isn't boosting up.
I know it isn't my CPU as my RX590 was at 130.
