Could be. I got him some IMI m855 and he said he'd never seen them before.

He used an M16A4 I believe and an M4 during his tours.

IDF? Definitely. I'm not sure if it still is...it was split between M193 (for most) and M855 (for designated marksmen and their 5.56 Negev LMGs) early 2000s.

M855 was the only thing I saw (early to mid 90’s)- during army time.

M118SB for the M24’s.

You would see m193 when working with other nations militaries though. Normally they had our old weapons using it.

sometimes see it In a shared dump though

Especially if it was a training mission.

Don't mix it up....

By name, yes. It wasn't M193 like we have today. 5.56x45 NATO didn't become a specification for over a decade. It was .223 Remington with a slightly lower chamber pressure.

I think that may answer why M193 wasn't included in the wound profile chart somebody was thoughtful enough to chart for us

Will m193 out of my 11.5 even kill a man at home defense ranges ? Super concerned now.

I have some mk262 but my gun isn’t zeroed with it. Occasionally break it out to shoot 5 rounds at paper. Chits expensive.

Should I LARP less in my basement and actually shoot my guns? What if they get dirty ? Gross.
