Depends if you are operating certain machinery probably. Some of that chit has like rules saying you can't drink within 24/48/72 hours, etc. Probably nestled in some safety form you blindly filled out or something.

i've had friends who had to do that for DUIs and they always pushed the limits and somehow passed

Yeah, I've heard countless stories of people I know on DUI probation who still drank a lot on the weekends and passed on monday

I don't believe you. If you can command a $150k salary in any field, you can find an adjacent position in that same field that may pay less (but not $120k less), but would be way less hours, and way more comfortable.

Yes, I can find numerous positions in the range of 70k and up to 150k, none of which I would enjoy. I happen to enjoy my low paying job very much. I wake up looking forward to work each day rather than dreading it. You can't put a pricetag on that m8. Also, i'm not a CONSOOOOOMER and don't need much money to be happy. Food, shelter, and transportation makes me happy.

This is true and should have thought about that before I squandered every penny I made during the 13 years of making bank. I was dumb and tried to buy the happiness my life and job was sucking out. I may go back to my original field in a few years after taking this tradie sabotical to set up a nice little nest egg. For the time being, a couple of years of no stress will be a good primer if I do decide to jump back in to high stress environments.
