Never played any games like this, looks like it plays like some sort of action/RTS-RPG? Might get it at some point to see what the nerd hype is all about.

What made this game incredible was the SOUNDTRACK. It created the perfect atmosphere for the game, you could spend hours just hacking at monsters listening to the OST.
I hope the remastered soundtrack is going to blow my mind.

Simpler times back then. Literally all night with friends would run cow or Baal runs gaining exp. Am 32 now and plan on going balls deep when this game comes out later this year hopefully.

The more I hear about this the less interested I get. They are making some horrible decisions in some aspects. I didnt expect much after the reforge debacle tho. Dont get too hype boyos. Wait until it's out before making your decision

Why should a guy like me who's never played Diablo be interested in this srs?

Is Diablo basically a Borderlands CRPG? seems like people just like this game because they grind for end game loot?

Diablo 3 worked perfectly on a controller.

There was a time where I couldn’t imagine playing Diablo on anything but PC. Got D3 on pc first but eventually picked it up on PS4 and playing it with a controller is actually really nice. Especially depending on what builds you use. I remember not really liking Whirlwind barbarians with a mouse but holy chit it feels great with an analog stick to control where you are spinning.

HNNGH okay nice brah will get it on PS4 if it's any good. I think I did play Diablo 1 on Playstation waaay back in the day. I could be wrong but I remember that game being much simpler.

He can't. Because they're literally making ZERO changes to the actual game - just like everyone hoped. The changes they're making to the UI and general quality of life updates are by and far welcomed by pretty much everyone. And it sounds like a lot of the changes can simply be turned off or on if you don't like it.

wasn't super interested because it will be the same old end game which will get pretty stale fairly quickly

then I heard it will have mod support

imagine project Diablo 2 and Path of Diablo on those graphics

if there's any D2 fans in here that haven't heard of PD2 or PoD you seriously need to check them out

they do stuff like rebalance the game, various QOL features, new crafting options like the equivalent of annul and exalt orbs from POE, and mapping like POE.

Have you ever played a game like this? I played diablo 2 when it first came out. I am not a huge gamer and tbh I don't even remember much about diablo 2 but I remember it was really fun. The community was good. You met some pretty cool people and just hanging out around the town's was fun.

I was pretty hardcore into it but I wasn't hardcore, if that makes sense. I never got lvl boosted or grinded for stuff like all these other ppl are talking about.

Depending on price I'll pick it up again.

And to add to my list on the page before of why this game is God tier this video is another. It's one of the best speed run games because runners have to adapt on the fly. Even trash gold amounts and timing your gold takes effort, item rng, rune rng, mob spawn rng etc.

But it seems they are aware people want it as close as possible to the original. There should be no compromise on skill balance and mechanics though. I can live with some QoL changes even though tbh I want it all the same, but if that's as far as they go then it looks hopeful.

Non binding items is a huge thing for me. Loved trading with someone and saying “wug” and you just put up all of your chit and you two make a deal.

Can’t wait to get the Sigon’s set and keep it forever and use it on every single new character.

I'd like to know the answer too, looks like it could be fun but not for me if grinding for loot is a core element, never played any CRPG.

Yeah, it's not a game for you if you don't like to grind for loot and especially not if you've never played it before. The good **** in this game is super hard to impossible to get. There are a bunch of items that you will never see drop.
Next to that there are several gameplay mechanics in this that will never be added to current games, because zoomers would bawl their eyes out (no personal loot, hostiling, body popping, etc.).
This is a man's game.
