I’ve asked my fwb multiple times if he doesn’t mind that I have mental health problems. But he always says nah. Then if I press him if he really doesn’t mind. He’ll say “you just need cuddles b”
Awwww see that’s what I mentioned in the Matches thread. Dolovblue and Kev1972 just write women off as “crazy”, but I’ve seen men be supportive to their wives or gfs who have mental issues.

Yeah but he posted in another thread that many finance people do Pepsi.

I know of two friends and dozens of patients who have overdosed and died. it's tough to see people in pain but opioids were overprescribed and little was done to assuage risk. I've dispensed insanely high doses for people and it's crazy to think how juxtposed their lives are at keeping pain at bay and not ODing accidently. Even with a low percentage of legitimate patients developing a use disorder we need to change the stigma of addiction and mental illness. ******** isn't going away since it's synthetic, cheap and very potent.

I'm not like your friends though because I have mild depression sometimes. But it just makes me want to sleep, not feel anxious. It's like the opposite of anxiety, I feel lethargic.
You can even get anxiety and fatigue/depression at the same time. It’s not a fun mix.

I think people think anxiety is like how you feel when you drink too much coffee. It’s not necessarily that. It’s hard to explain but for me my mind is racing, I think I’ll become homeless, I explained before the chest and stomach pains, the burning skin and flu-like symptoms.

I think a lot of people just feel stressed and call it anxiety, without knowing what a true clinical anxiety disorder feels like.

That’s fuked.

I mean Pepsi once in a while IMO is fine.

If someone were to ever mention to me “hey bro just scored some heroin, let’s dabble”

I’m gonna say “no dawg” and never speak to them again.

That chit just doesn’t come up like things like Pepsi or weed. I can’t really see anyone I know doing it.

Yeah I never have any of that. If I feel depressed I just start feeling sorry for myself and mope around for awhile, no racing mind or irrational fears etc.

Not as socially acceptable. Pepsi is way worse for your body, at least compared to a pharm product or an equally uncut street product

Many opiates are prescription painkillers. I know many in affluent areas who got addicted to those. Luckily they have insurance to get to methadone clinics and help them taper.

There was an executive in my area who died using heroin with a prostitute.

I just don’t think it’s talked about as much.

How come people who use Pepsi are respectable members of society and work as doctors, lawyers, investment bankers etc

Then people who inject heroin are literally the scum of society? (Homeless people, criminals etc.)

Also I’m pretty sure opioids are like 100 x more addictive.

Pepsi I could never do again in my life And I wouldn’t care. You hear about people literally needing their heroin fix or they get deadly relapse symptoms.

I could see Pepsi being worse for you if you literally needed it every day otherwise you relapse but that’s not the case at all. It’s not like you do Pepsi a few times and then start fiening for it everyday.

I think I got some anxiety attacks when my mom died, and maybe some dissociation? Not sure if that's the right term but I remember looking at the mirror and not recognizing myself.

You are extremely ignorant about opioids and have been conditioned by popular media and social attitudes, that's all. You won't start fiending for an opioid every day after a few uses either. People get caught in the cycle by voluntarily persisting with use because it is enjoyable and eventually get physiological dependence. Pepsi and nicotine and opes are all in the exact same sphere of addiction potential.

Also, opioid withdrawal isn't all that dangerous. It isn't deadly the way that alcohol/benzo withdrawal is. If you stay hydrated it will pass unpleasantly.

Far and away the reason that opioids are so scary and demonized is the overdose potential from unmeasurable street drugs. Pepsi doesn't have nearly the risk on that front, so deaths are a lot more rare. But short of overdose, pepsi is way worse for your body.
