I understand you shouldn’t round your back. I def have my back rounded before i actually do the lift. But as soon as i pick up the weight i straighten my back.
I stopped doing these back in the day because i went too heavy with bad form and it caused back pain. So i want to make sure i start off right this time.

it's not bad, just not much hip drive
really focus on sending your hips forward to bring the weight up, you're kinda pulling with your back (albeit with safe form) and the hips are trailing
probably just have slightly weak glutes and hamstrings like most people do
overall gjdm

Heavy deadlifting is not worth it. It is only a matter of time before you fukk up your lower back. I know that is hearsay to say on a bodybuilding forum but it happened to me and countless others. Unless you are a competitive powerlifter I see no reason for it.
I've been doing heavy kettlebell swings instead and it feels so much more natural. As an added bonus I feel a lot lighter on my feet and more explosive. Been doing more stuff with bands, gymnastic rings, kettlebells, weighted clubs, etc instead of just barbell lifting and the movement patterns just feel more natural and smooth.
I lost some size and strength but I feel much sharper and athletic.

Anybody else have thoughts on this? This is actually why i stopped deadlifting. But i just really want something to work on my overall pulling strength. Also i feel like with a weak lower back and not doing deadlifts it’s actually easier to injure my back on other lifts because lower back has no strength.
Edit: also you have dat ass. No homo.

Way too much upper body being used. This is a back/legs exercise. It looks like you're doing half-assed dead mixed with shrugs. Negged.

Op, like others have said you’re basically squatting down to the weight and lifting without much quad pop off the floor.

I’ve used the following exercises in its place at one point or another:
Trap bar deadlifts off the floor
Trap bar SLDLs
Back extensions
Hip thrust (on light days)
Good mornings with a Safety bar
Gironda leg curls (google them)
Seated leg curls+High and wide leg presses
Sumo squats

Plus i found an old thread surveying people.
Almost all injuries were minor. Some people had none. And the injuries that did occur were people who used bad form or went to heavy.

The flexibility in your hips look very stiff. Highly advise foam rolling and doing range of motion exercises to open them up. Besides that, your hip drive looks horrible. Looks like you're driving through the middle and front of your feet, instead of your heels. Either deadlift barefoot or invest in good shoes to conduct deadlifts in.

1. Those shoes are killing you. No good at all for deds.
Go barefoot would be better or get some chucks etc.
2. Get back on your heels more. Chest up and drive your legs through the floor. You are too far forward.
3. Take that slack out of your arms.
4. Big breath in and hold it at the bottom and keep yourself tight. Exhale at the top of the lift.

Agreed with hips and not locking out.
Your setup is more akin to that of a clean (see right side of pic). You want to raise your hips a bit higher and make them less parallel to the floor. Aim for the left side.

I would also lower your head position a bit, too. I think it may be fukking with your positioning, so I'd stop staring in the mirror. Aim to look at the floor 5-10 feet in front of you. Below pic is what I'd recommend - keep your neck in line with your back.

I'd also focus on making sure your arms basically act as ropes (keep em loose) and working on your actual motion - I don't think you're using your hamstrings much.
Changing your hip angle should help, but I'd also emphasize moving the bar using a thrusting/humping motion - it's not just pushing your feet against the floor, you also want to bring your hips forward. Dunno that I'm doing a great job explaining this here, but check this Candito video that touches on it, it's only 2.5 minutes.

I've been doing heavy kettlebell swings instead and it feels so much more natural. As an added bonus I feel a lot lighter on my feet and more explosive. I lost some size and strength but I feel much sharper and athletic.
