Just finished it.

I lold hard at the end scene with ben affleck looking skinny as phuck walking around puffing his chest. He looked old as hell too, he aged alot these past years you can tell being off the juice ruined him

Overall better than expected. Still was bored most of the movie

Zack Snyder never got to finish his movie Justice League. Near the end of filming Zack had a family tragedy of his daughter committing suicide which WB was already looking to oust him because of the poor reception of BvS so now they had a perfect excuse and threw him off the project for "personal and family time". They hired on Joss Whedon to finish the movie who completely bastardized the original vision. He did extensive reshoots which gave us the mustache Superman debacle, fired the original composer, cut the movie to 2 hours, and changed the story so much that it had nothing to do with Zack's movie anymore and at most only used 25% of Zack's already filmed footage. Zack to this day has not watched Whedon's movie after warning from his wife and producer Christopher Nolan that it would break his heart. For 3 years a fan movement picked up steam called "Release the Snyder cut" and gained so much traction among fans and original cast that WB could no longer ignore it. Zack was given a $70 million budget to go back and put his original vision back together and is all in all a completely different movie than the bastardized version Whedon gave us. Initial reviews and reaction confirm this movie is one of DC's best and call it epic in the vein of LOTR.

Just finished watching it. Definitely not for the impatient as it is very slow at times. Feels very music videoish instead of having a standard original score. It's definitely better than Justice League 2017 but that isn't saying much. Have to say I was pretty bored. People who don't like Zack Snyder still aren't going to like it.

Report back. I agree that the devils lettuce or alcohol would be a must. Was pretty blitzed the first time I saw Justice League if I'm not mistaken lol

Planned on watching tonight, but some of the responses in this thread kinda killed my interest. Figured it'd be a let down.

Man, I thought this would be on the front page!

I guess not a lot of superhero movie fans on the misc?




I watched it and loved it!

The scene between Joker and Batman was awesome. They gave Joker the dark sense of humour that the character was missing in Suicide Squad, I actually LOLed at his jokes.

Cyborg was the most interesting character of the movie, IMO. Emotional story, and the actor nailed it. Batman was also way more interesting to me in this cut than Whedon.

I thought it started off slow, and was cringey with the 'epicness' of some scenes for me, but after a while Snyder seemed to have got the tone right (or I got comfortable with it) and by the end I was frigging pumped for the sequel.

IMO it shows how much Joss Whedon royally screwed up Justice League. I felt that when Snyder dedicated the movie to his dead daughter, especially with father-child relationships being a strong theme of the movie.

I really didn't like Endgame. I honestly was bored until the fight scene (I'm not even exaggerating, I was really looked forward to it and I was bored out of my mind), IMO it was almost pure fan service. I loved Infinity War though, a great action thriller storyline/direction.

Endgame sucked, actually.

Thor ruined, a fat joke character now. Haha. Hulk is a pansy now. Captain America, old man. Iron Man, dead. Women power scene. Thanos sucked suddenly as well. Captain Marvel sucked the life out of the movie, the brief moments she was around.

The movie itself had no pressure, the whole time heist was boring, nobody was chasing them, none of them had much of any problems, it was just a very easy process. Back to Thanos, he was such a nuanced and interesting character in Infinity War, a movie I do like -- this version was a one-note joke.

All the interesting characters other than T'Chala were ruined and sadly the Black Panther actor died. I see no future for the MCU at this point.

LOL, yeah. I actually think it was a terrible film, apart from the opening 5 minutes (it threw me, and I liked that) and the fight scene. Nebula's storyline was also the the only saving grace for me throughout the movie.

A lot of people like it though, so each to their own.

It pissed me off how they ruined Thanos. Infinity War Thanos IMO is one of the best villains in movie history. Very rare to come across a villain who is genuinely convinced that they are moral, and is even sympathetic towards those fighting against him.

Dunno why everyone nuthug infinity war or endgame. Thor ragnarok is by far the best mcu movie, it actually felt like a comic book.

Been excited to give the new justice league a try cuz I wanted to like it, I grew up on super friends and justice league, but first take was so terrible I didn’t even get through 15min.
