Any Invisalign brahs?? Gtfih

I’m considering getting Invisalign for my bottom row (got jacked up after braces).

What are your thoughts on Invisalign? Any issues? Do you like it? Tips for insight

I would check it out with your dentist first. I was going to do Smile Direct Club and was advised by my dentist that I should go thru an orthodontist instead. My jaw clicks sometimes and moving the teeth without an ortho monitoring the process could cause major jaw issues. At least thats what I was told.

Yeah, I'd probably do it through my dentist or something. I asked them about it and the only info they gave was they can do it and the pricing. Fukin retarded lol.

The ex got it done, she had a pretty smile as it was so it wasn’t terribly drastic but her two front teeth on the top turned in slightly and she hated that. She loved Invisalign and the results, every so often she’d say her teeth were sore but her response was very very positive, considering getting it to fix a couple minor issues myself just based off how much she liked it.

Thinking of doing this. I just have minor shifts over a decade after getting my braces off so I'll probably go the cost effective SDC route

Tray 22 out of 26.

I would recommend going to an orthodontist for a consult, especially if you do have TMJ/TMD issues, bruxism, bite issues.
I'm sure there are plenty of knowledgable dentists out there, but if you have more complex issues then ortho is the way to go.
Remember you're spending like $3-5k so better get the best.

Look at the invisalign packages and see which one you want. If you previously had braces then maybe you could go for invisalign lite/express.
I never had braces so my chit was jacked. Went with full/comprehensive package which means I get unlimited refinements for 5 years or sum chit.
I definitely feel like I need refinements after this invisalign cycle.

Also be prepared to wear a retainer when you sleep for life or don't bother spending money on this. Your teeth will shift back and all results negated.

Total of 14 trays and thereafter I will have to either wear a permanent retainer or wear a retainer overnight.

I still have the 'buttons' (pieces of polymer) on my teeth to assist with alignment of my teeth and those will be removed in a month. I'm very satisfied with the results personally and would recommend them to anyone on the fence about it. The initial tray was painful but not as bad as getting braces for the first time for me. They aren't that visible TBH and when they get dirty you can use some cleaning crystals to clean them.

I can't speak on competitors like Smile Direct, ClearCorrect, etc but I have heard mixed results from those services.

Don’t give head when wearing them, cheese grates the dick. My poor husband.



They are good but hard to stick with cause they hurt like braces but you can just take them out whenever and you can’t eat or drink with them in besides water

Two rounds. 2007 and 2015 after one single tooth got hit, twisted and started to overlap others.

Paid $7500 cuz of that fukkin tooth.

Invisalign has improved my smile by not only making my teeth straighter but actually make my smile wider by pushing everything forward

It’s annoying having to leave in 20 hours a day but whatever

I had braces when I was in middle school, and I didn't wear my retainers so my teeth shifted as I got older. They weren't jacked up, but not where I wanted them aesthetically, mostly my bottom row. I looked into Invisalign, but based on my situation my dentist told me that Invisalign wouldn't achieve the 10/10 result that I wanted, while still costing basically the same as traditional braces. If you're going to do something, I prefer to do it right. I've had my braces on for almost ~2.5 years now, and found out today that I should have them off in ~6 weeks. Needless to say I am fking stoked to see the final teeth gainz.

With that said, my brother used Smiles Direct Club and seemed pretty happy w/ them. At the end of the day, I'd talk w/ your dentist and/or do a consultation w/ an orthodontist to see what option is best for your situation.

My wife is looking at invisalign. She was told by our dentist to not use smile direct as there's no direct dentist supervision. With invisalign, the dentist works with the company to ensure the device is moving the teeth to the right places
