As a pitbull owner I think that's a terrible decision. These dogs are for alpha leaders and most owners aren't that. They're stupid plebs. Whoever cant' control their pits should be charged.

By your logic guns should also be banned no? Besides, Pits are easily accessible which is why they have the highest rate. Mastiffs cost thousands to adopt along with having to take care of and need a lot of space. Belgians are pretty rare.

who give a fuk if there is no specific dog attack laws? charge them for something else. You can't just let people walk free after their actions lead to a kid being killed.

Agreed. In other states people were charged, I read one story where the owner was sentenced to 4 years, why isn't this owner charged? They need to also make licensing a priority for these dogs like guns, they're an aggressive breed.

if it was my kid and the owner of that dog wasn't charged with anything, id snap. id go to their house myself, break all their windows, bust up their car and try to drag the dog owner out of the house myself and confront him. there is no way you could just let that go and remain a sane, functioning perosn

I probably wouldn't kill them but I what I probably would do is wait for the right time knock them down and with a bat I would turn both their legs and arm bones into dust. They will never function the same. I'll let them know when I get out of jail I will do the exact same thing again.

And ofc I would receive harsher punishment for that attack but how could a Father accepts his child being mauled to death while the owners just get to live their life like normal? You can't rely on the law. People getting out after first degree murder in 10-15 years, catch and release program.

No wonder they want to disarm everyone, then you truly are just defenseless against criminals, pieces of sh*t and the government. Once again we have all this data and propensity that's highlighted and the law does nothing. Same deal with human demographics too.

These dogs were genetically bred for protection and would fight to the death to protect their owners and their friends. But I do know people with Pit Bulls, and their dogs are the most docile creatures on the planet. My one friend has a pit bull that easily has been the nicest, calmest, least threatening dog on the planet and it's huge. Calm enough to where you can stick your hand down their throat when they are chewing something and it won't do anything. It's just that most of the people who buy them don't put the effort in to train them and just want that "cool aggressive" looking dog.

The dogs were put down, but how are the owners not liable for anything? Hell every dog should be registered and fuk it even chipped for all I care.
A neighbor said the dogs have bitten a number of residents who know to avoid walking near the home where the pit bulls live
So it was known they were a problem, and now a father and mother grow up without a son, that's fukkin bullchit dude.
