Been day trading this penny BLPG for the last week. It's been remarkably consistent, highs in morning, low's mid-day, then back in between. Typically swings a good 15%-20% a day so if you catch it's rhythm you can make decent daily gainz. I've been averaging like 8% a day on the trades.
It's got a 100-1 reverse split coming up so I don't know what that will do to the pattern.

Another great day so far.
IPOE and SKLZ are being *******s, but I've almost given up on them at this point.
Wanted to short one of the ARK funds as a hedge just in case as well, but TD says that there are no shares available to short.

I did some fence repair on my cedar fence the other day. for your bid they are pricing in themselves 200%+ profit margin:
150 feet would need about ~300 boards, 25 fence posts $50 each, 25 bags of concrete $4 each, box of nails $50, support beams another 50 @ $6 each, probably 2-3 days work for two workers.
$1500 for cedar boards
$1250 for (good quality) posts
$100 for concrete
$50 nails
$300 beams
$2400 labor ($50 per hour two people three days)
too rentals and delievery ~$1000 for post hole, cement mixer for example.
$6,600 total
$13k profit for the guy who bid the job... also known as highway robbery.

I work in construction sales and construction companies constantly "re-sell" materials for stupid high prices. Which is why I always price out materials beforehand and usually buy them myself with a contractor discount, unless the contractor actually gives me a fair price.
Example: I had a french drain installed on the north side of my house a couple years back. I figured out the pricing for both PVC pipe (more expensive) and corrugated pipe (cheap) with a trade discount at Lowes. The company who did the first estimate quoted me cheaper corrugated pipe which ended up being 600% more than the more expensive PVC pipe at lowes. With their manufacturer discount, they were probably going to make at least 800% off materials. Told them this was absolutely ridiculous and would buy the PVC pipe myself, they can install it, and I'll pay for the labor. Then they told me they couldn't do the job because they couldn't warranty the work if I bought the pipe. The only way they could do it is if they sold me the pipe.
I told them they can fist themselves and left them a horrible review online. Ended up finding another company who immediately did it my way.
