Yah, I see vids of theft attempts that failed because the sht bag could not drive a stick shift. Good.

That being said, I enjoy engine braking into corner and not touching the brakes! However I don't have access to tooling and space that I had before. Changing brake pads is easy, transmission clutch plate is not too bad,,,,but ya, I'd rather have to change brake pads. I try to remind myself that, but I still keep downshifting into corners lol

What other trivial, routine things can we arbitrarily ascribe to being masculine? How about wearing workboots at all times? Or never wearing shorts. From here on out, only soycucks wear shorts.

It's what you're use to I guess. Mine is 6 speed with a pretty conservative differential/transmission for overall gearing. In traffic I almost never have to touch brakes. It's actually easier than driving an automatic in that traffic. That was in California, from Roseville to my USCG base closer to Sacto. There is no too much lurching forward and slamming on brakes. I could move the car exactly as I wanted with clutch and gas.

Annoying as fukc?

Nope.

Natural as fukc. Yep

I've always drove manual as its how we learn to drive over here. I've drove some newer autos, like 335d xdrive for example and the new auto gearboxes are smooth as ****, but its a boring drive.

Driving an auto in heavy traffic feels worse imo. I hate the feeling of easing off the brakes only to brake again, never touching the gas.

I remember being 17 and feeling like i was in fast and the furious when I learned how to drive a stick. In hindsight it’s really overrated and nothing worth bragging about.

I still enjoy driving manual. But sometimes when I drive an automatic I hate to admit it but it’s kind of a relief.
