That's what I call the "Courtship Trap" which is where a man or woman gets into "fake shape" to trap a mate, then totally give up later.

TONS of guys used to do that where I grew up, then turn into complete slobs once married.

The same with women and I actually knew women who told me they planned on it, cut their hair off and get fat.

I find that extremely disgusting and backstabbing.

Very common with chicks after marriage. You can tell which women eat right and work out because they love it (these are the ones that will be running half marathons in their 50s still looking good) vs the ones that just want to look good for the summer or spring break (aka try fad diets aka eventually will blow up)


Make sure you get a chick that actually enjoys fitness.


Men are similar though. They focus too much on work and providing thinking that will get them love and attraction while letting their bodies go to hell
