Personally, who cares. You need to live the life you chosen. I'm in the same boat and I don't really care what people think.
Do i want kids? sure, but I'm definitely not going to bring them in the world by force or by societal standard.
At the end of the day, it's my life not theirs. If I can't find the person that I think should have my kids, I'll just adopt.

Society says so, But for the people who know about divorce, child support, know that having no kids, as a man puts you on the next stage of value in the dating market by not having kids. Plus if you'e against marriage, there's no fcuking reason to bring kids into this world.
30+ with no kids means you can get chitfaced on a wednesday night, or just have fun on a Wednesday night.. where you don't have to worry about that text about the baby or the bitchin wife asking you to come home after only being out an hr with the friends.

Was 35 when I had my first kid. Feel like I had my fun and now it is time to settle down. Feel like it was done right.

You're 31--plenty of time to still have fun, date lots of women, build that nest egg.

Live your life for you until 40-45, then dedicate your life to a kid or two until you are 65, then enjoy a 20-30 year retirement.

I didn't read the thread (again). But why do most people believe everyone should have kids?? Many people are not "fit" to raise healthy children, unfortunately. This is only one reason why the world continues to have so many problems and chaos, inho. You can't give them what YOU DON'T HAVE or weren't given!
Don't feel pressure to have children just because everyone else does. You need to have, at the very least, strong maternal/paternal instincts and emotional empathy (yes, males too). Emotional empathy does not make a person "weak-minded." And you have to be able to see women as more than "objects" or physical ornaments that are put on this earth just to gratify your primal basal wishes.
Many don't know how to truly talk to people or how to treat others with respect and politeness no matter stressful life becomes on a personal level. How do you expect to raise families with good values and/or interpersonal skills then? You may think you're leading but you may only help to lead developing minds in the wrong direction.
Don't have children if you don't possess the patience and ability to listen to them and be there for them.

misery loves company, that's all the baby cope is. They dun goofed hard and ruined their lives before they even really started and now want others to join them so they feel less like the fukking idiot that they are.
Any saving/investing that they would've done got sunk into the bottomless pit of child raising, they're with a sloot they don't even like that much but can't leave because they've been with them long enough that any meager savings they've accrued will be decimated when she takes half, plus likely takes the house, plus then you have to pay child support on top. So they're done, tour is over. I'd probably be salty if I were them too lmao

The issue is people have kids for selfish reasons. It gives them a purpose to their own life. Which I understand completely, I sometimes wonder why I bother slaving in society just to save money I don't even use. However using another person for your personal meaning is wrong .

For people who believe in having kids because it's expected of them but aren't truly qualified: think long and hard about what may be the most important and impactful decision of your life! If you are battling some type of addiction it's a major red flag, obviously.

I’m turning 29 in August and I absolutely am not anywhere near worried about kids lmao. Honestly would be fine if I never have kids, don’t want kids actually.
Just lol if you let societal standards make you feel insecure about where you’re at in life. Live in the moment and really contemplate how your life would be with a kid. & if you feel like you would have purpose with a kid, think again.
Edit: and that ^ having kids is a selfish pursuit

I almost had a kid when I accidentally got my gf at the time pregnant. She ended up miscarrying.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be a dad but glad I ended up dodging that bullet. She turned out to be a lazy deadbeat.

Norm now.
Most people have at least 1 kid in their life time - next most people have 0 kids and then you run into the people who have 2 or more.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/...the-us-by-age/
30% of people by this stat roughly - will never have kids.
If you're Asian - you probably will not have kids.
~70% of people have 1 kid at least and about ~37% of this group will have 2 kids.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/...r-of-children/
Around ~20% of that 70% have more than 2.
In the end - US population will go down without migration from other countries which it should go down and we shouldn't request migration.

No
I’m 32 and don’t plan on having kids. Coworkers with kids always tell me how I absolutely have to have them. They’re the same guys who bitch about money and try to chit on me for paying for a country club membership.
Not falling for it *******s.
